now? i think a sweep is ideal. maximize rest and prepare for WCF. obviously this is just the first game but the team looks really, really locked in. i was always worried about the team's defensive consistency because i didn't think zubac would ever get heavy center minutes. but now that starting lineup looks GOOD on defense. a few more games together and several practices should get them really aligned, and potentially even a special unit.

It sure would be nice but let’s not get ahead of ourselves- it was just 1 game and Denver just showed it can fight back from a 3-1 deficit
We're not Utah. We're very capable of sweeping or in 5 if we don't let up. I think the clippers will stay focus so they get the rest before the WCF. Best believe they're paying to the rockets/Lakers series.donemilio21 wrote:Roscoe Sheed wrote:nickhx2 wrote:the previous round, i didn't think a sweep woulda been good for us. in fact maybe losing OT game was the best thing to happen to the team. we just needed time to figure things out and to get people rolling, and that happened.

I agree. We are not sweeping Denver. They played horrible in game 3 against Utah, lost by a ton of points, then came back and won the next 3 out of 4 games. We have keep fighting hard on defense, and let Kawhi take care of business on offense and hope we keep making 3s.
Better that than trying to be a player he's notdonemilio21 wrote:Reggie had 0 shot attempts, 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals or block this game in 13 minutes. He was just running up and down.

Come out and blow them out game 2 to send the real message!NickP wrote:Great game. I know Denver was tired and we capitalized. That's what good teams do. Doc didn't have to coach much but this series is far from over.

Oh bugger off. You and MTV act like children at times.
If you don't think Doc did a bad coaching job last series by giving up 1 20+lead and almost giving up another 20pt lead, a theme that has been here all season with losses like to atlanta where zu didn't play at all in the second half, then I really don't know what to tell you. He was terrible. Clipper nation universally agrees.
Here's hoping he's learned from that and will be better going forward. I want doc to do good. I want him to not keep making the same mistakes over and over again.
maybe I was emotional when they lost, but I had every right to be. Don't bother responding to me if you're going to be a troll. I won't entertain the foolishness.

For those who may have already studied the match up, what do you all think about Zu vs. AD, vs. Trezz vs. AD?
(yes we're only up 1-0, but just curious...)

Dunno about this year, but
