BTW, this article is one of the most devastating pieces on Trump I've ever read. None of it is surprising, but the clarity in which it maps out the pathology of this guy's mind wherein he literally cannot grasp the point of serving anything unless there is something for him to gain personally is why he disdains military people so consistently. They're all suckers to him. Just like the rest of humanity, but even worse as there is no act of sacrifice that can be understood by him. To be precise, he is 100% sociopathic with no capacity for empathy. How does anyone support a president who has no concept of service? To support Trump means you're either a sociopath yourself or are deeply ignorant of the implications for the future his true nature foretells.

Totally Clyde. Not only is Trump the worst president we’ve ever had, but he’s the most despicable human being to ever occupy the office (and we’ve had more than our fair share of cretins in the past - A. Jackson, J. Buchanan, A. Johnson, Nixon, to name a few).

Trump may be a garbage human being but he still got nothing on jackson, or wilson

No, Trump is absolutely the worst president in American history

And none of those guys had nuclear weapons

If Trump has a second term he's going to start WW3

Maybe, but don't you think that because of the advancements in weaponry and technology, along with the advent of imminent and dire climate change consequences, that Trump can do much more damage?

Long term, he's capable of doing way more damage (if he hasn't **** future generations already), in the short term, there are way too many safe guards in place to allow him to get us into the nuclear war that he's trying his damndest to get us into.

Well, according to republicans, they encourage citizens to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights whenever they feel like lawlessness is occurring. So? Their rules. Of course, I'm just pointing out the ridiculousness of their position.

That said, I don't know if you are old enough to remember but I remember the assassinations of JFK, MLK, and Bobby Kennedy. I was young, but I still remember each one. And then I see this complete POS ass clown tearing apart families and ruining the country. I did a happy dance when Scalia died. I'd do backwards flips if Trump choked on a ham sandwich.

At the very least, the Joint Chiefs of Staff should have bullied the VP into initiating proceedings under the 25th Amendment to have Trump removed ... humanely. :D

I wear a gas mask when I go into a Walmart or a Wawa. I get looks. I don't care. Local ordinance requires a mask but most employees are afraid to confront the ones not wearing them. Today as I went in to Wawa out came a big ole boy with no mask and he stared me down. Got into his pickup and pointed to me from inside and I turned and looked at him. Him and his buddy were obviously talking some crap about liberal puzzies. They had Trump flags flying from the back of their truck.

Because I stared back at him he then ran his thumb across his neck in the cutting motion. I felt like doing it, but these days I don't flip the bird. I don't need these psychos seeing what I drive and getting my plates. They're not well so not worth the risk.

These guys are everywhere. They're in Long Island, PA, FL, it doesn't really matter where you go, they're around. And some of them are strapping. And some of them are the boogaloos looking to throw down. The guy I saw today would gut me like a pig in the right circumstances. There is violence in the air. You can feel it.

And we know these people were around before, but now they feel empowered. This is all about Trump now. You see one of these guys and you know instantly they support Trump. All manners have been stripped bare from their interactions. If you trigger them in any way they go off. I've seen it repeatedly. I guess I didn't realize how many white people were so full of rage, but it sure seems like there is a massive amount of them who just want to express anger.

It's was basically apolitical until Trump as many of them had no interest in politics. But Trump put a face to their feelings and now they feel like they have the top dog in the country backing them. That changed the whole nature of our society. I don't know if the genie will go back in the bottle after this, but there sure are a lot of these pissed off, barely literate white dudes driving around with arsenals in their pickups. Several of my neighbors walk around with pistols in their waistbands. It's just a mess.

Dang. You need to get your ass to Sweden asap. But I want to see a pic of you in that gas mask so that we can determine whether there was probable cause for them to stare you down.

I yelled at this overweight long dark stringy haired Jack Black looking dude in Staples a couple weeks ago without a mask. He was over by the copy center service station for a while. Then I was two people behind him in line at check out. So he checks out without a mask on in front of this young female cashier who doesn't confront him. After he pays he walks back over to the Copy Center while I pay for my items. The manager of the store came over to help and took me at the next cash register. I pointed out that the guy wasn't wearing the mask. He says, "Ok, thanks," and mumbles something into his walkie-talkie. I pay for my shyt and have to go back to the copy machines to finish up. So as I walk back over I see this guy, still without the mask, so I say, "Hey, where's your mask?!? Everyone else is wearing one here. What makes you special?" Then he looks at me and says, "Oh, you want me to wear a mask?" So I said, "Yeah." Then he said, "Okay." And he put on the mask.

One massacred indians **** the banks and told the courts to **** off when they told him to knock it off, the other legitimatized a hate organizationand caused world war 2 with his bull ( and thats ignoring all the other bull he did/ ignored). Theres a few others worst than trump. His just feels worst cuz we're living through it.

If he was more competent, he'd likely be dangerous, thankfully, he's not.

You're telling that to someone who couldn't get anyone to really understand in 2016 that Trump was a fascist then. He clearly is one now so I'm done with trying to convince people he'll put heads on spikes, but he sure as hell will. He is a sadist, completely sociopathic and will do whatever he can get away with. He separated kids from their parents and put them in cages in tents in 100+ degree weather. He applauds racists and vigilantes who kill protestors. He wants cops to have unlimited power. He said he likes cops to beat people when they apprehend them. You think he is not going to be genocidal given the opportunity?

I agree he is incompetent, but we're still faced with close to half the country supporting him so what does competence have to do with anything if he gets re-elected? You need to read Vanity Fair. They have an insider leaking stuff them for two years now. It is driving Trump crazy, because he can't figure out who it is. It may be two people actually. And those insider reports say you ain't seen nothing yet. They say if Trump gets re-elected he is going to seriously throw down and fck chit up. This first term was just a taste, a dry run, but if they get a second term they're going to go to war with the citizens of this country with federal agents deputized to break heads and disappear people.

I don't minimize the massacre of Native Americans, but the amount of damage Trump can and will do is probably unparalleled.

Perhaps you haven't read the stories about him repeatedly asking the generals why can't he at least shoot one nuclear warhead. This MF is completely insane. Yes, he is stupid, but he has the keys to the car and he is going to drive it off the cliff given the chance.

So instead of trying to play a game of moral relativism and say who was worse in terms of who suffered more, we can say Trump is the most deranged sociopath in the history of the presidency. There were sociopaths before, but none as unhinged and none with the resources of the modern era to fck up the world with.

Hawkfish CEO, Josh Mendelsohn, discusses the use of data in making projections about the 2020 election. Mendelsohn works or worked for Bloomberg. His take is that election night will be all red across the country because Trump voters are the ones who will go out and vote in-person that day whereas a lot of wussie Democrats will vote via absentee ballots which will take much longer to count. He concludes by saying that he thinks that when they're all counted that Biden will win.

Trump is going to say that the mail-in ballots are fraudulent, etc.

EDIT:

Kyle does a good job breaking it down. Actually, he supports what buzzardman was saying is going to happen, kinda.

So I just walk by those creeps thinking whatever you losers while knowing I'm the most well protected person in the store

A neighbor caught it. Didn't see them for three weeks. They look five years older today. Said they had a week of massive headaches, no taste and feeling like they were inside a ring of fire with their body burning up. Weeks 2 and 3 they just slept in. Just another guy who didn't take it seriously

Crap, I hope not.

That's why I'm doing in-person voting myself. I already figured it can help.

But now I wish everyone did the same and skip the mail ballots this time around.

This is going to be so damn stressful

I know. Our side needs to prepare for this somehow. I'm going to skip the mail-in ballots and vote in person too. I already know the set up at the local elementary school. Everything was spread out throughout the auditorium even before COVID and it's a quick in and out. I'm not concerned. We also have very low numbers here at present. That could change but I know how to dress to protect myself at this point.

I'm not stressed about the voting part. I can get in and out since we have 10 days of early voting here.

Meant the results are going to be stressful with Trump trying to sandbag the count. Also, I don't trust Florida at all. It is a super corrupt state.

If this guy's scenario plays out it is going to be a tense week after the election waiting for all of the vote counts.

the Atlantic article is getting picked up by the rest of the media now. This story is going to get disseminated and made a part of the takedown by Biden. You can see it spreading here

I do enjoy this headline

John McCain returns to his condo inside Donald Trump's head

Goya CEO: 'Destruction and hatred, tearing down businesses' driving Latinos to Trump

https://justthenews.com/politics-policy/all-things-trump/goya-ceo-trump-rising-latinos-because-immigrants-dont-come-tear

Amid riots, looting and violence in the streets, Goya Foods' CEO says polling showing President Trump's support rising among Latinos is because immigrants arriving in America seeking opportunity don't come to "tear things down, cancel things."

Democratic strategist Chuck Rocha, a Latino activist and author of the book "Tio Bernie," served as a Bernie 2020 senior advisor. Rocha on Twitter warned his fellow Democrats cynical about the strong Latino voices onstage at the Republican National Convention last week.

"Democrats, dismiss what your seeing in the Republican convention at your own peril," Rocha wrote. "I have seen and done research with persuadable Latinos voters that confirms what your seeing does cut into the margins. And your woke white consultants aren't going to save us. #thatsmyseat"

Good to see there is at least a silver (orange? ) lining to all the riots and looting.

The rise in support for Trump is due to "fatigue over all the destruction and hatred, tearing down businesses, by people — a lot of people that are from outside the community — because if you're within the community, you're building it, you don't want to tear down what you just built," Robert Unanue, President and CEO, Goya Foods, told Just the News in a video interview. "

"And this is organized. People coming in from the outside to destroy. And so you know, we have two paths to take: Love and build, hate and destroy. We need to take the path of loving and building. And that's why we're looking at prosperity. How do we get our country back on our feet, and prosper in all aspects. So let's love. Let's build."

Great ad from the RNC being run in all contested states:

One massacred indians **** the banks and told the courts to **** off when they told him to knock it off, the other legitimatized a hate organizationand caused world war 2 with his bull ( and thats ignoring all the other bull he did/ ignored). Theres a few others worst than trump. His just feels worst cuz we're living through it.

If he was more competent, he'd likely be dangerous, thankfully, he's not.

The way you have to look at it is if Trump switched places with Jackson and Wilson, do you think he wouldn’t do the same thing? You have to be on some high grade cocaine to believe that a 1800’s version of Trump wouldn’t commit genocide on the natives. I mean current Trump is actively promoting white supremacists, you don’t think he’d be just as bad as Wilson? Let’s add on the fact that he’s openly corrupt and robbing the US for his own personal gain and he’s also an obvious traitor. Trump is unique in that he easily has the worst qualities of the worst Presidents wrapped up into one person. Replace him with the worst Presidents and you get the same results and then some.

Two consecutive days of major stock market drops. Obviously a loss for the Trump since he's running on the "market and your 401Ks).

Loss-loss here imo. He lets the market tank, that hurts his re-election. He can print more money but we are already having an inflation issue. This will be ammo for the Biden campaign as well.

So Trump just made a peace/economic deal between Kosovo and Serbia. It was mostly done to put another peace deal under his belt to help his campaign according to some Kosovo leaders.

Anyways, does this affect the election at all?

The deal mostly involves Serbia moving their Israel Embassy to Jerusalem, and Kosovo recognizing Israel. So this seems like more of a pro-Israel move for Trump as he has always done.

Maybe it gets Trump more of the Jewish vote?

It is getting a lot of buzz on Twitter.

I'll leave all time rankings to the historians but he is absolutely doing a dry run on executing absolute power over his political opponents. That was made clear in Washington, Portland, and elsewhere. He is figuring out who (agencies) will help him and who won't, as well as the extent of his opposition. In DHS, he has an ally as well as with many local law enforcement agencies and his conspiracy militia goons in the general public. His institutional opposition is still bent at opposing using the levers of our democracy, which doesn't work to your advantage vs. a person who has no regard for those levers.

I also put the need for his removal at dire.

Yeah, I think there's probably some interesting discussion to be had about Trump vs Jackson and others but the present problem is Trump. At the end of the day, the fact that the current president can be debated against the absolute worst president's in history is all that needs to be said for the time being...get this dude out of office and then we can let the historians weigh-in. He could be out in 3 months but the lowest lows aren't even necessarily fully known yet and might not have even been reached (the election could be an absolute disaster).

Edit: I have an entirely speculative hot take on why Trump did the "vote by mail AND in person" stuff recently...basically trying to get a voter fraud stat boost and then claim it was Dem voters. He's potentially dumb enough to just say that ish out of cluelessness but it's a good way to continue to galvanize problems on election day regardless.
