Giannis is just overrated. He’s easy to guard and is a regular season stat padder

Lol Butler with 30 points and had as many offensive rebounds as missed field goals.

But when Jimmy plays with guys like him he’s a hero. Chalk it up to GarPax. Jimmy was always going to go off until he found his people.
Why is that first point a negative? If anything he sniffs out the guys you should trade and/or fire.

Hahaha. Said in true Suz fashion.
We both know locker room etc. Some guys rise and some wither in that environment. Riley has assembled a team that rise. They know what they are doing.

I dont know...coach Bud is looking suspect.
Again, he made no adjustments and Giannis is playing 35 mins. That is CRAZY.
If the Bucks get swept, I honestly woudlnt be surprised, if he gets fired. Im not saying it will happened, I just wont be surprised.

He may bounce back eventually like Dirk did after Golden St, but it was years alter.
But 2 years in a row, Giannis is going down in flame in a bad way.
He gone.
I really dont think he will ask out. If he was raised in the American circuit then that would be the typical reaction. But I dont get that sense from Giannis.
I feel he will be the Dame Lillard of the Bucks. A star that will have a HOF career and just happy to stay on the team that drafted him.
Giannis isnt going to pull a Lebron and try and join a stacked team.

I love how Butler has proved everyone wrong with this season in Miami.
GarPax are clowns for not trying to build around him with certain levels of competence.
They got a washed up Wade and Rondo to fit around Butler when he was a certified top 15 player. Horrific team building.

Hr might not be LA or NY bound like Lebron or Durant. But, he is definitely going to look at Miami, Dallas type teams.
You need a jumpshot atleast to the level of Kawhi, Lebron to keep defenses honest and be a #1 option in the playoffs.

Take solace in the fact that GarPax would have wasted his years anyway and that would have been more painful. Letting this eagle fly elsewhere was meant to be.
Krause said orginazations win championships, they sure F**k up chances at them too.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Say what you want about Giannis, but Riley’s 2-8 roster is just league’s better than Milwaukee’s.
Giannis just won DYOP. He’s basically anchoring the defense. He’s a monster overall. Is he supposed also anchor the offense? He is the point forward. Bledsoe and Hill are hardly even PGs - they made a living most their careers playing alongside other PGs.

He was always able to get teams into the playoffs. He just never was good enough to get a title. That was the issue.

You dont think they win the title if they win the next game do you? Because nothing has changed till he wins one.
They're way closer to the title than we'll get in probably the next 5 years without Butler.

Both Chicago and Miami will both be title less when Butler retires.

Butler is a litmus test. He likes good players, good coaches, and good organizations. He was never going to be a fit in Chicago. Maybe (I hope) with the new regime, but not with the GarPax, Fred, Boylen horror show.
As for the Bucks, I am in the school that says that Coach Bud turns 50 win teams into 60 win teams, and that his guys get beaten in the playoffs because they're just not good enough. Giannis isn't delivering, Middleton is a borderline All Star but no superstar, and the rest of 'em are role players. Some pretty good role players in there but still.

The Greek Freak is a #2.
You probably would of been calling Jordan a #2 in 1988.

The only player in the NBA who gets teams into the Finals by himself is LeBron. Well, of course he needs help too but pretty much any half-decent supporting squad will work for him. Everybody else needs a stacked team.
So your argument effectively is that LeBron is better than Jimmy Butler. Well, I can't argue with that.

Butler could and can be a #2 on a title team.
He was a no doubt top 8-10 player in the NBA when we had him. He's still top 12 or so.
