Lakers had at least 10 unforced turnovers of just throwing the ball away with no pressure. Defensively rotations was lost or late too often. Think those will be the adjustments .
And stop playing rondo and lebron together. Makes no sense .

Well, they've been a bad half court offense all seasonBen-N1ce wrote:Lakers got 18 fast break points yet shot 41% . That's bad half court offense.

Why did Markieff Morris only play 9 minutes?

Lakers wont be able to keep up with the Rockets scoring. There will be a game or two where the Rockets may be cold, but the Lakers just dont have the shooting as a team to outscore them. Id let lebron and davis shoot 2s over me all day. The role players are average. Bad matchup for Lakers.
Clippers
Rockets
Celtics
Heat
Raptors
Id take all 5 of these to beat Lakers in a best of 7. Outside of Lebron and Davis they have average cast.

Just baffling. Coaching is so important in this league. Between this and Rondo continuing to get play over half the game, Rockets are winning in 4-5.
Really disappointed in Vogel after having little to criticize him about the rest of the year.

Rockets just at +205 right now after the win, looks pretty decent.

How are there 15 threads on the front of the GB about Giannis, with trolls rubbing their hands together in glee, while the Los Angeles Lakers, with Lebron **** James on the Lakers mind you, just lost game one to Harden and the Rockets. What kind of upside down world is this.
I guess it’s just a flesh would and the rgm carrion are going after something closer to dead?
Rockets looked real damn good and this series is going to be better than advertised.

You answered it yourself. One team lost game 1, the other team is about to get swept. If The Lakers go down 0-3 in similar fashion to Milwaukee, there will be 30 threads, not 15.

He ain’t kidding...5 guys there. That’s bad.

This is a pretty good piece. A little bias saying they completely Ignored Rondo, and I didn’t see it as quite that bad. But the rest seems spot on.
We just saw what the Heat did by playing outside and shooting threes, while locking up the paint vs a team with no good three point shooting guards and making it difficult for the mvp...this sounding a little similar?

Magee kind of sucks though I feel like the rockets will abuse him. I dunno about Dwight maybe he can have an impact.
Lakers can still rollout pretty big lineups without those two
The PPP may have been better when they went big but what was their defense like? I would venture to say it was during the period where it was pretty much a layup drill for the Rockets.

Lakers were a lot better when Mcgee was on the court than when AD played at the 5.

So then they should just give him 30 minutes then? 13 minutes isn't going to sway the opinion that the spacing isn't an issue IMO. Howard wasn't effective in 11. You ask me... this is going to become a problem for James more than anyone.

Well...I might change my pick for Rockets in 6
It's so obvious tbh, we can't go small, we don't have the space to do that, we struggled all year playing vs packed paint

Because the Rockets can't help when McGee is in the dunker spot, on else it's a dunk since they are smaller.

No they should play them both 15-20 minutes each, while going small when harden is on the bench.
Harden drives a lot less when the paint has two bigs, that's one of his biggest tendency, they tend to move the ball around the perimeter when that happens. It was baffling to see, game 1, when we had only 1 big, Harden went to the rim a lot
