YouTube TV just announced they aren't going to carry Fox Regional Sports Networks. They better get that **** sorted out before the regular season next year.

All these streaming services are getting out of hand. The entire point of having those over cable TV is because it's cheaper and more convenient...and now you have to have fifty different services to watch what you want, more or less.

Been watching some Everton this year in addition to the Spurs games I usually catch. I cannot fathom why it is James Rodriguez couldn't make it at Real Madrid. Dude was class for Bayern in a deeper role (received no credit for it though) and can single handedly pace the attack. Credit to Ancelotti for the way Everton have been playing- they are a pacey counterattacking squad that primarily runs the ball through Richarlson and James that have been playing some beautiful football yetsofar. To top it all of Calvert Lewin shows the same nose for goal that I saw out of Kane earlier in his career- he just is in the right place at the right time on a constant and consistent basis and will outwork other players to establish his position.

Also I can't believe I'm saying this but Spurs look to be in a good place with Mourinho, the prem came out and admitted that we should have gotten the game against Newcastle (though it probably ought not be that close) but Mourinho has really added a whole new dimension to Kane's game, and therefore the Spurs attack, in allowing him to also be a distributer. Son seems to have continued his development as a player- something that really shouldn't be surprising at this point as the lad legitimately has improved by leaps and bounds every year since I started following him. I can't wait for Bale to join the attack. A Kane-Son-Moura-Bale combo (with some Dele thrown in if he stops being a diva) is going to be electric.

It makes you wonder a bit why Spurs signed absolutely no one in the year they lost the CL final to Liverpool and now they've just gone absolutely ballistic this transfer window.

Yeah why they didn't want to support Pochettino is beyond me- the only thing I can figure is that Levy thought Poch was just auditioning for Real Madrid and therefore didn't want to invest to heavily- but we were so close to greatness for 3 years on end. We had shots at the Champions League and two premier league titles and we passed them up thanks to an unwillingness to sign quality attackers or sign players for depth in midfield- we had Sissoko playing literally everywhere (including right back once) at one point the squad was so thin. Now we still really could use more youth at the back but this is probably the most excited I've been about a Spurs roster while I've been a fan (from an attacking perspective at the very least). If the Special one can score us a trophy I would be absolutely hype.

Yes we definitely need another pacey central defender and I don't trust Aurier at all even as a backup.

I dont know if I've ever been so giddy about a win as I was today. We absolutely destroyed Man U. Mourinho might be on to something here- this is his sort of team after all.

Agreed but still not 100% sold on our defensive options yet who were barely tested by Utd but still conceded a poor penalty.

Oh I agree but we could legitimately have 2 of the top 5 scorers in the league this year with the way Kane and Son are playing. Hopefully that will make up for some defensive deficiencies we have. Also Aurier actually had a pretty decent game today, hopefully that continues. What really is going to make the difference is if we can stay healthy or not- that always seems to be our kryptonite.

EDIT: It seems we are being linked with one of Rudiger or Skriniar. Hopefully we can get a deal done.

EDIT2: I missed this news but Tottenham are now the most valuable team in the premier league (that happened back in April)!

EDIT3: Welp we got no defensive help. Hopefully we have the depth to compete!

Just read back through some of this thread: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=1238256

Crazy how much time has gone by and what has changed in my life/stayed the same. Would encourage any new posters to add to the list. It's nice having a bit of background on everyone. Makes it feel more like a community.

From my memory there is an even older thread than that one, but I have no idea how to find it. Edit: Looks like it's not on the board anymore. It went back too far and I guess and is erased from time.

Hi all, I come in peace, hope you all are well and safe.

I’m doing a trip to Savannah/Charleston, but decided to add another week to check out North Carolina. 3 days in Raleigh and 4 days in Charlotte. In between I’m going to see Chapel Hill, Duram and Greensboro. Just wondering if anyone has recommendations on bbq and the best pulled pork in those areas.

And what is there to do in Charlotte, if the locals have recommendations that are a must. Thanks all!

It's more fast food than straight BBQ but I definitely recommend hitting up a Cook Out. Have like 40 different types of shakes available.
