Once upon a time Dirk eviscerated the league en route to a 67-15 record while winning MVP, and followed it up by getting soundly beaten by the 8th seed warriors team that year. Fast forward a few years, and he puts together one of the most impressive post season performances of all time taking down the Blazers, up and coming Thunder, repeat Lakers, and the Heat's big 3.
Giannis went from low lotto pick to very good player to player that is at times in the conversation for best player in the league. I have no doubt the result of this series will drive him to make improvements to his ability to score in the half court, and there will be opportunities to upgrade his supporting cast.
Was there a coaching change after that disastrous upset?
Appreciate the post.
A fair point and something I'm sure you guys have discussed here in the last few days. I don't watch the Bucks regularly but my impression is that Bud is an upper echelon coach and not the major source of the struggles.
