Re: New York Yankees Thread
This team hasn't looked right all year even when they were 8-1 and I called them out on how they were playing. Of course I didnt expect them to be this bad tied for the last playoff spot in 8th place barely above .500. Yes I know they are depleted with injuries the off days due to covid and weather and double headers but they have also blown leads in a lot of their games its what bad teams do. I do not give them a pass because of the 60 game season I know the Yankees brass will have excuses for Boone. I can't even blame Boone because hes a puppet in all of this.
At this point Florial should be in the starting lineup and might as well have Andujar in there as well. Have King, Devi and Schmidt in the rotation the rest of the year.

Some team will luck out and get a bogus WS championship. Good for them and their asterisk.
The only good thing about this year is watching some of the kids get a bit of playing time, and that's due to the injuries, which were pretty much inevitable.
I'll be more interested in baseball, when they have a real season next year. Maybe.
That's just loser talk.
Having a 60 game meaningless season is loser talk
Though King, Clarke and Desi all looked like ass, so there's that.
Everyone is playing under the same conditions. People can keep bi--tching about it. I don't see what difference would it make for guys like Paxton, happy, judge and stanton and gary sanchez. They look like crap like previous seasons or injured like previous seasons.

Hire a real GM, hire a real Manager.
This is beyond pathetic.
When they do let fans back in it's gonna be a billion dollar morgue.

The manager isn't the main issue
Cashman has put together an injury riddled team
No manager could win with the amount of terrible hitter sthis tean is putting out there
Voit and DJ and clint are the only starting level hitters right now

The Manager thinks he has 10 Mo Riveras in the pen, doesn't trust his starters when their cruising on low pitch counts
I agree Cash is the problem. Big head wants to win and win his way only. It's ok to hit .215 as long as you draw walks

This is the Yankees going forward and has been for quite sometime. Corporate shills, who accept mediocrity as long as their printing money.

Team is trash. Not even going to make the playoffs and even if they do, they’re going to get obliterated.

Re: New York Yankees Thread
I’m done with the team till Boone mans up and starts publicly punishing our guys for blowing winnable games. Ottavino gotta forgive his game check, apologize to all of us, and do multiple suicides across the field for blowing this lead and game

He’s not even a real pitching coach either lmao
He’s one of those analytical geeks that worked under the pitching coach in Cleveland or some sh*t.
