And I mean we would finally able to have the 3rd splash bro. And I requested a top 20 protected 1st because we haven't had success with low picks apart from maybe Looney, we might not know what the future holds for this team but if it is protected like our first this year it will ease the pain of loosing the pick outright

At 28, Edwards will be 313lbs and staring for the Ukraine Lions.

Nice list

Well the draft is in a little over a month, unless the NBA pushes it out again.

Can't wait for it to get over with.

I hope they push it back...I like talking about the draft > actual basketball...who knows when we'll have another top 5 pick...

I predict the season will start on MLK day which is Jan 18...that puts the draft in late Oct as planned...then the salary cap and lux tax numbers will be released and the teams with deep pockets will clean up...

Wut

You can’t have 8 organizations not play basketball for 14 months.

It’ll be around Xmas time for sure.

They also can't start the season without fans...

I think Silver said they’d prefer not to start next season without fans. But that isn’t set in stone I don’t think.

Silver mentioned around the first of the year, but when you think about the TV aspect on Christmas as a launch for the New Season, it’s a homerun.

I expect them to start without fans at least in some places.

Yeah they will want TV money if nothing else.

They have how many nationally-televised games on Christmas?

They're not passing up that money.

But of course, without the bubble, they have to worry about the logistics of keeping the players free from infection.

Once they live at home though, instead of getting stuck in the bubble, anything can happen as college football and baseball players are showing.

I wonder if they could get the players to buy into a season long bubble, maybe 60 games and a further compressed schedule because there's no travel needed. I'm sure they don't want to do that but if the alternative is no season it's an easy choice.

NBA will start 21-22 season without fans. They need the TV money, but I think they will have to revise the schedule. Probably split the league into 2-4 bubbles, Orlando and Vegas, East and West until January or even later. Personally, I think the vaccine will slow down the spread, but will not stop. This damm virus already mutate to different form. Our life won't be back to normal until 2-3 years from now. It is sad, but it is what it is, and I feel bad for the kids.

I was on a conference call today with Jay Williams...he said that his former teammate Daniel Ewing's sister told him that the season will start on MLK day...
