Think there's a 0% chance that Giannis is not in a Bucks uniform next year, but also a 0% chance that he signs the supermax. It's bad business after the terrible year the league is going to experience revenue wise. Horst, you get one more shot.

Guys who need to go/will be gone:
Korver
Connaughton
Bledsoe
Marvin
RoLo
Ersan
Sterling

Guys who will definitely be back:
Giannis
Middleton
DDV
Lopez

Up in the air:
Hill (think he retires)
Thanny (probably keep him for Giannis but eh?)
Wes (maybe opts in)
Mason (takes Hill's spot?)
Wilson (can you even get rid of him?)

I can't wait for Giannis to state how "we will learn from this" only to come back next season none the wiser.

Wes has been great all year, and I'd love to bring him back with a better player than him off the bench to take all of Korver's and Pat's minutes. We need guys who are smart AND physically capable. One or the other ain't enough.

The break in the season/bubble already softened my emotions whether good or bad. I'd be googling how to fix holes in walls if this happened during a normal year. Lots of holes on this team.
Inadequate perception I reckon it's from the Valium

I think we all knew this was coming. This team was not the same after the restart and even more questions about Bud's ability to take this team to the next level have intensified.

Usually you'd say there's always next year. But is there?

Yeah, I have it at a 30% chance lockout, 40% Giannis refuses to sign super max and 30% chance we even come back with a similar team.

I'm not saying it would have made a difference but it's weird to me that Robin went from a rotation guy to no minutes. Especially after losing a big to injury

On the plus side, Donte looked good again. Sadly, he might be our best shot at a dynamic guard being paired with Giannis.

The media will say again that we were not a playoff team, like we didn't already suck during the 8 seeding games.

Can't say I expected to win going in to this game, but it was very winnable.

Very disappointing game, series, and playoffs.

Team played with heart, can’t deny that.... but damn this off-season is gonna be a big one. Time to see what our front office is made of.

Khris got really selfish and lazy, not to mention completely forgetting his limitations.

It's okay that Bledsoe can't shoot if he just takes care of the ball when he drives to the basket, but he was a disaster.

Hill was awful. That's my guy, but he was just terrible. Can't expect him to be the 2019 ECF version of himself on a regular basis.

Brook is an infuriating mix of pros and cons and it's really hard to figure out what it all averages out to. I would like to see what the Bucks can do without him.

DDV is definitely a keeper. Too bad he didn't start making layups and 3's at a serviceable clip sooner.

Don't understand why Ersan didn't play at all. So much better than Korver. If Korver is back, I'm mailing a zip-loc bag of diarrhea to the Bucks front office.

Really needed a Bill Walton "HE'S SCARED OF THE BALL!" for some of those Marvin plays. I liked the acquisition but his presence on offense is a big negative even with the offensive boards.

Wes should be back. He's not great but he makes sense on the team.

I would like a more switchable defense.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

Honest question, Giannis can still sign the supermax at the end of next year?

Not the only loss this series that was very winnable, either. Early couple losses were largely on Bud. Last couple are largely on the players.

ackypoo wrote:im not entirely sure we need a roster overhaul or a new coach. but we absolutely need giannis to explore half court scoring options. whether that be a post game, a 3 point shot, a mid range game, or flailing around like james harden and making his free throws, he has to get better in the half court.

I mean that would be great, but what if he just can't? what do we do then? It's not like he's 19 anymore, we have to seriously consider that maybe that's him as a player. He can drive and dunk, he's an average or maybe slightly above average passer, and he attracts double teams. And these 3 things are all you can count on him to do reliably on offense when things tighten up.
What then?
