Look who finally decided to show up. Just as the optimists lose yet again. :)

I'm fairly certain both Bam and Dragic played the best basketball of their lives. The rest of the Heat were very good. Credit Spoelstra for getting it all clicking at the right time.

I’m excited that I can go from bitching about the Bucks and feeling disappointed by them right into being disappointed by the Packers and bitching about them.

What unprecedented times we live in!

Different series, different match-ups. Weird that Ersan also lost all his minutes after being okay when he finally got in the game against Orlando (ahead of RoLo IIRC) though. Korver at PF was 10x worse than Mirotic at SF against Toronto last year, and Mirotic starting at SF against Toronto was one of the dumbest moves I've ever seen.

It’s the same type of peace you find when you come to terms with your ex being with a better version of yourself

Or when you’re looking for a way to break up then find out you’re getting cheated on.

Get off Khris island while you can. Gonna be underwater by the end of next season.

I mean that would be great, but what if he just can't? what do we do then? It's not like he's 19 anymore, we have to seriously consider that maybe that's him as a player. He can drive and dunk, he's an average or maybe slightly above average passer, and he attracts double teams. And these 3 things all you can count on him to do reliably on offense when things tighten up.
What then?

He's still only 25 years old and has gotten better every year. No reason to think he's done expanding on his game. Personally, I'd like to see them challenge him to average double digit assists. Too often players end up sitting around watching him with the ball.

Big changes needed, khris bledsoe and hill needs to be moved, rather have a more athletic Center instead of Lopez aswell but Giannis is just fine

Something like

Paul
Divincenzo
Matthews
Gallinari
Giannis

Guys who need to go/will be gone:
Korver
Connaughton
Bledsoe
Marvin
RoLo
Ersan
Sterling

Guys who will definitely be back:
Giannis
Middleton
DDV
Lopez

Up in the air:
Hill (think he retires) -
Thanny (probably keep him for Giannis but eh?)
Wes (maybe opts in)
Mason (takes Hill's spot?)
Wilson (can you even get rid of him?)

Rolo, Wilson, Thanny are back due to his guaranteed deals (unless a throw in for a trade). Turns out giving away millions to brothers will hurt your cap.

Hill? No way in hell he walks away from $10m. He had 2 opportunities to walk away this summer and chose to keep playing.

Usually you'd say there's always next year. But is there?

Yeah, I have it at a 30% chance lockout, 40% Giannis refuses to sign super max and 30% chance we even come back with a similar team.

I feel like you're understating the total breakdown of the social order and like 2021 is the year where there is always a hurricane or something.

Bud is at the top of the list of people that need to be gone next year.

Our defense can be great especially with a DPOY but we need a coach who can adjust after a half and not 2-3 bad games in a row.
Our offense is garbage no matter what but nights with Giannis being Giannis or Khris being hot or our average shooters having above average games when Giannis is attracting everybody on him is enough to beat anybody.

I don't understand why it's so difficult for Bud to do this. You don't have to be a genious to understand that if something is killing you, you have to change it. Switching on Dragic PNR, putting Wes on Butler, playing the starters a bit more instead of the struggling bench, putting Giannis on Bam instead of Crowder in the perimeter.

lebron didnt develop a post game until about this time in his career.

This team is quite old we will be probably worse if we bring the same team next year

where can the improvement come from?

Giannis improving?
young guys improving? we don't have young guys (apart from ddv)
we don't have trade assets. Middleton our second best player has such a huge contract we will only get some overpriced secondary player back

is there any market for Bledsoe? I doubt it. Maybe somebody wants Brook as a stretch 5 that blocks shots

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
