To see such a "historic" team get ended so quickly just shows how bad the teams are in the East.

Miami is 4 wins from the finals.

Edit also, it's 9:25 and Lakers-Houston, scheduled for 9, has not tipped off lol

it doesn't say that. Dallas won 67 games in 2007 in the tougher conference and lasted 6 games in the playoffs.

What it tells us is Miami was a terrible matchup for the Bucks and Spo coached circles around the Bucks. Then when you lose Giannis it's church.

The East is bad because a team from the East with a really good record lost a series to another Eastern team? I'd suggest you focus on what actually happened on the court instead of reaching for narrative like this.

Harden didn't even attempt to get involved in any plays in the 4th quarter after the initial double LA sent at him. He could've easily gotten himself some catch and shoot threes or some layups through cuts by just moving a little but instead he stood 8 feet beyond the three point line watching everyone else. Take advantage of the scramble the double on you created.

Its so obvious Lakers are gonna win it all at this point

This is eerie to 01 Lakers

Lebron and Davis are the 2 best players in the playoffs and ppl are overrating the lack of a "3rd guy"

it was Markieff/Kuz game 2, Rondo/Kuz now. A role player always steps up

it was just like the 01 Lakers. Fisher, Horry, Ho Grant, Fox etc would all alternate at having big games or series randomly. Rondo/Kuz/Markieff/Kcp/Danny/Caruso are always capable of that and defensively Dwight is capable of being the difference maker in the right matchup

No guarantee Cp3 goes vegan, loses weight and shows up in this same form TBH. He was struggling to take Kevon Looney off the dribble in the playoffs last year

Harden wanting him gone was the big motivation for lifestyle changes

theres a good chance he just pulls a hamstring again

Ppl just tricked themselves into thinking Houstons gimmick Moreyball had a chance like most years. 2018 was the only year they legit had a shot. This was always gonna be the La battle to decide the champ. We all knew it even if some wanted to be contrarian

I don’t really buy any of that. Paul’s an all time great he’s plenty motivated and motivated to win a title. He just had a year of injuries that was his issue last season.

Maybe he gets injured again I agree but I think the motivation thing is very untrue.

Paul and harden should have worked things out. Paul’s trade value was ranked after last season.

Him being so passive in the 4th is why the Rockets lost this game and will likely lose the series.

Am I crazy for not thinking this? I think that the Lakers definitely have a great shot, but the Clippers are really good, and if Kawhi outplays LeBron, then the Clippers' role player advantage may give them the edge. I could also see the Rockets pulling off the upset if they start bombing threes. And all three possible Finals teams from the East have a significant coaching advantage.

I dunno... I don't think it's 100% obvious yet, but LeBron and AD look so good... Kind of scary.
