He is very well liked throughout the NBA. For me, the Williams/CP3 thing is water under the bridge. But for the life of me, I dont understand why people thought a guy with no handle and no creativity to his game was going to be a big time scorer

Marvin's claim to fame for Hawks fans was he wasn't Chris Paul. Hawks needed a PG. GM Billy Knight wanted a team of 6'-6"+ switchable players.
Marvy Marv was the ultimate pro, but he didn't love nor was he passionate about basketball...it was strictly a job. The pressure of being a #2 pick didn't get to him though and he carved out a 15 year NBA career. He always had the respect of his peers. Good Luck going forward!

I at least was rooting for him and Korver to make the Finals... oh well.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Same.
I read last night he was ranked 11th in the country out of high school talent. I thought it was ranked higher.

I will admit, I ranked Deron Williams #1, and he topped my draft board. However, Chris Paul wanted to be a Hawk, unless he only said that so he could be the #2 pick, because Bogut was a sure thing at #1.
