I wouldn't even move him or any of them yet. Fiz was a damn joke more interested in being their friends than coaching them. Miller, who knows whether he really knew what he was doing, a talking dog could outcoach Fiz. So Miller not using him is no indictment as far as I'm concerned.

Let Knox and DSJ get a taste of stability. Let our developmental staff work with them. IF that fails, then move them but, NOT until you've done EVERYTHING to help your draft picks successful (as well as DSJ).

Dudes mom died early in the season, he gets horribly booed the same game. Then the back injury. He get rushed back cause Frank has another groin injury is does poorly as one would expect.

Like I said, I wouldn't make any decisions on them until after they've had some stability and development

I would have taken Porter Jr. And I wasn't even a Porter Jr fan as the no.1 pick (before injury). But even after that injury, at that spot, it's perfect to take a risk on a top tier high ceiling guy.

I feel like the Knicks would've gotten criticized harshly by the media for picking a player that would've sat for over a season. The organization would've rushed him too soon. I don't know it's a good fit, just feel like we're not the type of organization like Denver to draft guys like MPJ and Bol Bol and wait for them to get healthy and slowly develop. I mean the fans have already given up on most our young players.

Yeah. But that's why you have a great marketing machine and be able to talk the guy up. You can also cover by acquiring another pick and using that to draft a ready now player as a smokescreen. I mean the reality is that the Knicks were bold enough to draft Porzingis as an fan unknown with no idea if he'd be able to step in right away and produce like he did. Phil Jackson mentioned that it might take Porzingis a year or two to really start becoming productive. I would have looks to sell this as a "look I picked the guy that most people said was the consensus no.1 overall pick". Give us a year or two and we may have the best player in the draft. Some fans will be upset but they'll forget it once they see him play.

He was always known to be a player with bad body language, low motor, and gives up easily. Its hard to change that. No idea why the knicks drafted this guy knowing that. Hopefully no more of these type of players in this years draft. With that said i hope Thibs and his new coaching staff can get the best out of him. So far a bust to me!!

Oh come on now, this stud muffin is the worst player anyone has ever watched putting on an NBA uniform. He may have even been the worst player ever to put on a division 1 uniform in college.

Ok. I didn't include meme players like Smith Da Gawd and Jerome James aka the Brad Miller stopper.

So I will give Knox that. I don't consider him a meme player yet.

Challenge: find a so far worse player than Knox drafted in 2018.

I think just Jarome Robinson (who by the way had a good bubble), Zhaire Smith, Chandler Hutchison, Jacob Evans, Musa, Spellman, Jevon Carter and Melvin Frazier could be candidates until pick 37.

His rookie season was historically bad when you consider both offense and defense. His second year was even worse.

Knox is a straight bust in my opinion. If he was just bad but playing with effort I’d say keep him, but he hasn’t shown any passion on the court and it is known that he has motor issues, on top of the fact that he’s a horrific basketball player by NBA standards.

He can only do one thing, shoot the basketball, and he’s one of the worst in the entire league at it. Pretty arc on that j though.

Trade him now while he still has value. Get him away from RJ and Mitch and any young guy who wants to be great in NY. If we’re really gonna build a culture here, we’ll need to get rid of all the pretenders on this roster. Knox wouldn’t last a DAY in Miami.

Edit: The Knicks didn’t do him any favors with all these PF signings. It’s obvious that Knox’s best role is stretch 4 because of his lack of foot speed on both ends. And Fizdale went from overplaying him and not holding him accountable to barely playing him at all because he couldn’t outplay the likes of Randle, Portis, Taj... (a red flag in and of itself if you think about it). But the fact that the Knicks have mismanaged his development and the fact that he’s a bust are not mutually exclusive. Both are true in my opinion.

Remember Knox had a pretty good summer league his rookie season which got everyone's hopes high? I think it all went downhill from there.

Watching these playoffs as a whole... I think it would be wise to move Knox to the 4. I'm not a Knox fan but if you can trade Randle- why not play Knox @ the 4? It's his best chance for success imo
