Lowry was always better than Derozan.

Derozan played zero defense. He made the all NBA on his offense. He was rarely a net positive on the court for us.

You mean the same 7 game series where Lowry scored 7 points game 1 and 10 points in game 3. Yes, he sure beat Wades ass.
Toronto won that series, but then Lowry was a no show in 3 of the 6 games vs Kyrie and LeBron.
And to take away from Wade for winning with LeBron, well what has Lowry won exactly without Leonard? Atleast Wade had already proven he could be the #1 option on a championship team, even if it was before the decade he was already a proven player. Lowry has never in his career been the #1 option in a season where his team has won a championship.

Lowry has not won a big playoff series as the Raptors best player. His biggest playoff win was against the Bosh-less over the hill Heat. The narrative can flip big time when you play with one of the GOATs.

And by the way, I’m not saying Lowry is a bum or trying to discredit the great game he had tonight, he’s played and had multiple big games in the playoffs, but he’s always been a player who could disappear multiple games in a playoff series and all I’m saying is from 2010-2020, he has not been the second Best player to play in EC not named LeBron.
