Jason Kidd

Can't imagine Kidd would piss people off more than the above 3.

I think most fans like Hinrich

I don't know anyone that would be excited about him being head coach, but who knows.

Joerger clashes with every FO. Why in the hell would AK hire him?

Why does everyone keep bringing that up lol, why do you care that he clashed with the front office? Doesn’t necessarily mean that it was his fault. All I know is he did a very good job coaching both Memphis and Sacramento. Besides do you think coaches don’t ever clash with managers, happens a lot. To me it shows he has balls to stand up for what he believes and coaches the way he wants to coach, not be a puppet like Boylen or Hoiberg. Thibs clashed with Paxson, why does he keep getting a job?? If you just don’t like him as a coach fine, but don’t tell me it bothers you so much that he got fired over not getting along with the FO.

Anyway I know the bulls aren’t signing Joerger but someone will and he deserves it, imo he’s the top available coach right now along with McMillan, Donavan, and Atkinson. Personally I think he’s even better than them.

The same reason I would bring it up about Jason Kidd. It shows a pattern of behavior I want no part of as the HC of this franchise and I want to see rookies played and developed.

You keep saying this nonsense. Jimmy Butler developed from a #30 pick to all star under Thibs. Thibs also played Mirtotic and Asik good minutes. Joerger played Fox, Hield, Bogdanovich, Bagley, WCS as 5 of his top 7 minute players his final year in Sac.

Just because they didn't give entitlement minutes to Marquis Teague, doesn't mean they don't develop guys. Most 50 win teams don't play rookies big minutes.

What does Thibs have to do with Joerger? I never said Thibs didn't develop guys.
Joerger was prodded into playing them by the FO which was the source of the issues. Both there and in Memphis.
A lot of his players disliked him near the end and Sacramento intentionally traded Iman Shumpert away to force him into playing more young players.

AK is not going to go for that ****.

People were bringing Thibs into the discussion. Sorry if that wasn't you.

Why does everyone needed to be liked? Do you love your boss? Jerry Krause was absolutely hated by the greatest player, greatest coach, one of the greatest two way players ever and the greatest team of all time. Guess what, they won 6 championship and had the greatest team of all time and a great dynasty. In the real world, you work with people you don't like in leadership. The fact of the matter is that he was a winner and got the most of all those teams. He owns the 2nd and 3rd best Grizz records of all time. He owns the best Kings record in the last 14 years.

I'm not saying he's perfect. Building relationships is something he'll have to work on wherever he goes. But none of the coaching options we're looking at are perfect. Phil Jackson is not walking through that door. Any coach we're interviewing is not a Greg Popovich. They will have to work on things. They have glaring holes and are likely unproven. So I would love to have a successful NBA coach with an uptempo system that will get the most out of our guys. I'd like to see him get an interview here.

What if the answer is right under our nose and already in Chicago?

James Wade - head coach for the Chicago Sky.

Won coach of the year is first season as a head coach. Has years of coaching experience in the US and Europe. Played all over Europe in his playing days.

Gimme Billy Donovan. I've never liked his rosters, but I have liked how his teams have played.

Looks like the new front office is taking their time with the hiring process to screen enough candidates. GarPax would have hired the one guy they had in mind already. Some other candidates I wouldn't mind seeing are Tony Bennett from Virginia and the Mavs' assistants (Mosley and Silas).

I beginning to think there guy is either Unseld or Craig. Since there team still playing no real hurry as of yet. I guess Unseld team might be done by the end of tonight.

3 more days till individual workouts start.

I’d expect coach to be hired before group workouts start. If that coach is still coaching in bubble. Announcement could be shared later. Maybe it’s already happened but not announced. I don’t think so though as Donavan is supposedly being interviewed.

I like those 2 candidates too. They most likely will announce their hire around the Conference Finals or once the season is over.

I doubt they are that close to hiring someone.

As each day passes I feel more and more they are waiting on Unseld Jr, which I am more than okay with. I don’t see why Billy Donovan would come here so other than him my top 3 have been Ime, Wes and Vanterpool.

I believe AK is waiting on Unseld Jr or Craig. I’m thinking if Donovan was gonna land here it would have happened already.

Why? It's not like Donovan is in a rush to find a job.
