I wish somebody like Caruso would shoot a free throw and just before he lets it fly yell “hey Russ!” Then fall down to the ground Westbrook style and the yell “...AND ONE!”

Keeping an eye on Austin Rivers next game... He was getting a little chippy out there, was involved in some questionable contact down the stretch... Wondering if Dad is saying, if you can't win, soften them up a bit....
Half joking...

Hopefully Denver can win so it holds back the Clippers a little more.

Great game but that 4th Q run has been probably one of the worst basketball stretches the Lakers have played all season long. Finish them off in Game 5.

What a luxury to be able to ‘fall back’ on moving AD to the C when forced to go small. AD is the best C in the league, period. He just doesn’t want to play the regular season there due to injury risk. We would all, including Vogel, start him at the five in every game were it not for that. Thank you for playing team, AD. Without him starting at the five, this is a completely different series.

Caruso and Rondo (and THT) are three of my favorite guards in the NBA. Keep them around.

Kuzma is slowly letting the dawg out on offense, too. His defense has been good.

I love the concept “whoever is open is our third best player”.

Eliminate!

Put your foot on their necks while they are mentally down (and perhaps emotionally as well) .
Don't give this team any confidence they feed off of it like a vermin on old anchovies underneath the staircase.
Terminate them

LAKESHOW wrote:We can't have a starting guard come out with 2 points and missing layups. Just can't. Heres to hoping for a turn around game tonite. I mean cmon, he's due. You cant go any lower than 2 points

If that player is AVERAGING 2pts per game, yes, he should'nt be starting unless he is a hybrid version of Rodman(rebs)Ben Wallace (defense) and Draymond Green (PT forward, assists)maybe.
2 points is disappointing indeed but again most perimeter players would have a cold spell esp if you are NOT a playmaker. My question to you is, would you be HAPPIER if he ends up scoring 9 points but took 14 shots missing 11 attempts? That's what happened to Paul George in a LOSS to the Mavs game 4. Again Green hitting his shots would make the Lakers very hard to beat but his role (8 shots/26 mins) is not as huge as AD and Lebron with OTHER teammates like KCP, Caruso,Rondo, Kuzma ready to step in.
Going back to my question, so you want Green to take more attempts and thereby take away attempts for AD and Lebron just to avoid ending up with 2 points? and oh BTW, Green have scored below 3 pts ONCE with the Lakers in the playoffs, And he never had 3 straight cold shooting games.

Green will locate the basket before the Clippers game. So, next game. Time to turn it on, DG!!!

The defensive strategy of chasing the Rockets off the three point line is brilliant. Same with taking away Harden’s left path. Simplistic and effective. They don’t like taking mid range jumpers, they prefer threes. Harden hates going right. Great strategy.

The double teams have been quick and crisp on Harden.

Eliminating D’Antoni, Harden and Westbrook will give some extra satisfaction, but let’s be mentally ready for the Clitters.

It’s gonna get good.

Green shot 40% from 3 last night, same clip as AC although Caruso's late 3 was more memorable. Danny also hit 60% in Game 2, (again forgotten bec of Morris's hot streak), shot well in games 3 and 4 vs Portland. It seems like every rotational player has at least 1 game where they were hot. Morris in game 2, Lebron and Rondo in game 3, AC and DG in game 4.
I am hoping Kuz will be next to find his shot, it's difficult though to find your shooting rhythm if your just taking 2 per game. Props to him though for a hustle, working hard to stay in front of his man, grabbing those rebs esp offensive rebs, minimizing bone head plays etc.
