Is it necessary for the NBA to say it was a female guest? Why not publicize race and age as well? It paints a poor image about players in general.

Given what he was supposedly doing, hiding the gender of the guest deliberately, could add a "rainbow set of tones" to his image, but I don't know if that would help to improve it...
