On the flip side, that's still playoff DeMar with better defence

Really isn't. If we had Derozan instead I think we'd have won. We could hide him on defense. Spurs Derozan really isnt the same as he was on the Raptors.

No way, Siakam was someone who was actively making it tough on Tatum/Brown to score. DD would get ruthlessly targeted by a brilliant coach in Stevens, and he would give us the same #s as Siakam

BOS in 4 imo if we swapped them

Great season when you think about it as a whole. Just really disappointing end to it. We had them and let it slip away with poor turnovers and Siakam just not showing up all series.

Pascal and Nurse are about to get roasted by this city and for good reason. There was no reason to ride Siakam when he was playing so bad, none. It was stupid.

If im Ibaka i want nothing to do with this team or Nurse at all...Im packing my bags tomorrow ....It was uncalled for Ibaka sitting on the bench watching while Siakam turns the ball over and over again ....The dude was the only reliable scorer we had and Nurse gives him no chances

At least now we know what he is though and can plan accordingly. He’s still a very good player but just not a #1 option on an elite, championship contending team and almost certainly never will be.

Lowry almost carried us to a series win we didn’t deserve but respect to the Celtics and particularly Marcus Smart. Great battle.

I agree here. If siakam is an average role player in this series the raps are moving on. He was absolutely terrible. The weight of this loss will rest heavily on his shoulders. How he comes out early next season will likely determine his path in this league.

I get nurse wanted switch ability on the floor, but Ibaka should have got a look down the stretch.

I wonder how much Pascal took from the Celtics under the table. Those turnovers look very intentional! Mark my words.. someone will break this story.

He didn't touch a basketball for 4 months during the season. What makes you think he'll practice during his vacation?

Ibaka should be our starting C and if Gasol signs with us it has to be a backup roll.

We need a starter that can create for himself and breakdown defensively. Siakam wasn’t suppose to be that player.

Every team needs a player who can work one on one and siakam the only player who showed he was capable of it. I mean the second option is who? Norm?

People really don't remember early playoff DeMar lol, it was equally a nightmare if not moreso.

He did learn to score later on but his D has never improved.

Can you think of a single player in the history of the NBA who has ever had a series like this and then come back and become a high-end playoff performer? If not, what makes you think Siakam will be the first?

True. This is a defining moment in his career. He needs to pivot off this and take a step forward or he could be mentally wrecked.

Siakam’s defense is far better than Ibaka’s (and among the best on our team) so they couldn’t pull him from that game or any other. Nurse could certainly have told him to stop forcing his offense though. He’s just not that kind of player.

I had them in the semis in the preseason so anything last that was bonus. It sucks to be correct tho lol. I don’t mind losing cuz that’s part of sports but you can’t lose like THAT. Fuuuuucking turnovers like c’mon now. When they had the turnover on the inbound pass I knew it was going to be a long night.

Lowry is tired don’t blame him, he always gotta carry this chokeshow everywhere.

Pandemic P just needs to go back in the lab go see a mind coach too while he’s at it

Fred VanTrash LOOOOOOL what were you thinking on that last shot

Nurse why didn’t you play ibaka more when they had theiss out smh

Norm came in late but coulda given more ah wells #Osmows

OG is a gem, protect and treasure this guy at all costs

Rest of the guys might not see them again in a Raptors Uniform which is mind blowing

Ah wells a Raptors way to lose the game

On to the off season

Return to Toronto Raptors
