Dragic yes, Crowder no way.
I don't think neither of them is worth more than that

I dont think its the dollar value but the length, Crowder has surely played himself into a multi-year deal somewhere. While I wouldn’t overpay, he’s the only forward besides Jimmy and Iggy with some muscle.

Few thoughts on potential moves :

1. Giannis is a pipe dream. He's not leaving the bucks in the nect xouple of years IMO. Also he's not a good fit with Bam and Jimmy here.

2. AD isn't leaving LA soon either.

3. Sadly, i Don't think we have the assets to add Beal, who is the trade block. Other teams will easily out-bid us.

4. Jure Holiday might be the best player we can add, and he fits - but not sure what and how much should we offer for him.

Kelly + pick #20 + Nunn? too much?

I love KZ's potential and really whished he'd get some minutes these playoffs - the issue is I don't think he's ready to be a high volume 3 point shooter - and the biggest skillset we need right now next to Bam and jimmy - that's why Crowder is such a good fit here.

KZ could be a better player soon enough - but Crowder is ready and better fitting now.

KZ will be fine next season coming off the bench playing with KO. We need to resign Crowder and Goran. Unless we can add a super star, but who? Giannis in 2021 is not happening, that man is loyal and will ride it out in Mil. I will pray to the Basketball Gods for AD but chances are very slim.

I know the Heat wanted Bledsoe before they got Dragic. But I do bot think the Heat are interested in him as a big contract move. He was a big disappointment in Milwaukee. Under performed during pressure. And I think he is passed his prime.

David Griffin isn't letting go of Jrue for that package. He's a pretty shrewd negotiator. You're going to have to add Duncan Robinson to the package to get the ball rolling, and I'm not quite sure if I'd be willing to do that.

Here's an interesting tweet. Clutch NBA tweeting that Ibaka and Lowry will be playing together next season and FiveReasonsSports added and pay less taxes to which Clutch NBA retweeted.

Could be hinting at a Miami acquiring Lowry and Ibaka next season which in my opinion would be perfect for us.

Lowry/Dragic/Nunn
Butler/Herro
Robinson/DJJr
Crowder/Iggy/Okpala
Bam/Ibaka/Silva

The balance on that squad would be crazy. Add to that having Dragic off the bench full time and being able to match up with big teams with Ibaka and Bam as the 4/5 and then having Herro replace Robinson down the stretch to finish games we would have good to great defense at every position. Being able to have Ibaka in the paint and allowing Bam to guard players on the perimeter more often would also be an awesome addition.

They also liked my reply asking whether we could get both of them and retain Dragic and Crowder.

I’m not sure Rex. I can’t imagine the Raps are just going to give Lowry away to a fellow Eastern Contender though.

It’s an interesting notion though, given we know Jimmy and Kyle are tight. Serge is an obvious target as he brings a lot of what we lack from our power positions.

Worth it purely for Iggie rage if I’m honest.

I misunderstood that Lowry wasn't a free agent until 2021 so I would imagine it would work like this, We'd acquire Ibaka in free agency re sign Dragic, Crowder and DJJr and then trade Iggy, DJJr, Nunn and our 2020 pick for Lowry.

Lowry/Dragic
Butler/Herro
Robinson/???
Crowder/Okpala
Bam/Ibaka

If Toronto are likely losing Gasol, Lowry, Ibaka and even possibly VanVleet if he gets a large offer somewhere else, then they likely know they will be out of contention next year and try a quick rebuild before 2021 adding Nunn, DJJr, a 2020 FRP and a year of Iggy would be a good package for an ageing Lowry. This would give them a solid draft pick in 2021 and the cap room to take a swing at Giannis to add to Siakam, Powell, OG, DJJr, Nunn, 2020 pick and high 2021 pick.

In this day and age, I expect Davis will get a better offer than the Heat could give. I'd rather have Dragic or Jae with that money.

Swapping Nunn for Lowry would be silly. I'd hate to see the flopping, but Lowry is exponentially better.

Swapping Meyers for Ibaka would be nice as well. Someone who can actually contest around the rim.....it's making me tear up...*sniff*

I can't imagine Toronto would trade Lowry away. He's basically the greatest Raptor ever. Is he going to ask for a trade? Doesn't seem realistic.

ehhh, i am all over the place then. I truly think of Betran as a step down from Jae and a consolation prize if Jae is out of our price range.

I would much rather have Jae too.
