After watching the way the Clippers played in the 4th quarter last night I doubt whether they can eliminate the LAL in a 7 game series.

Old video but funny regardless given the current circumstance.

If we are making predictions solely on the playoffs performance I don't see either of the LA teams beating the Heat.

But I believe these players and coaches are there to elevate their performance when needed. Clippers and Lakers have something up their sleeves. Especially Clippers.

seeing Raptor fans make threads on the general board comparing their team to the 94' Bulls is just comedic thirst for a moral victory. Glad Leonard went back home. Love seeing Raptor fans miserable. What a great playoffs it has been.

Toronto clearly overachieved all season. They were absolutely great. Bashing them now for falling short in game 7 if the conference semis is nothing but ridiculous.

They are a tough team. The kind of team I like. If Siakam continues to improve and they are able to keep adding pieces on the cheap they will be a tough team to deal with for a while to come. Boston was clearly better but Toronto kept clawing back and finding ways to still be in it up to the last seconds.

I gotta say though wasn't too impressed with VanVleet (although he had a good game and arguably kept the raptors in the game in the second half). He's definitely a supporting player and teams should be weary (erhem Knicks) of dropping a lot of money on him.

Also, as a general aside, I know especially on this forum we often criticize iso play but in the playoffs iso are still the go-to late in games. If you don't have the players that can effectively score or get to line on an iso late in a game you are going nowhere even in 2020 NBA. I think one of the key factors in the Boston win is that they had the better iso players.

Spot on, I totally agree. This is a league in which gifted scorers and tough team defenses win.

A lot of the same people who don't want to sign FVV want Cole Anthony to be our PG next year, make that make sense.

He's really good. You still need a max cat scorer, but with him at PG, you won't ever be outplayed badly.

I like FVV and wouldn't mind Cole Anthony later in the draft. The caveat is you don't want to pay these players like franchise cornerstones. FVV definitely isn't. I don't want to assume Anthony won't be but in all likelihood he won't be either.

Lol his face. I don't think he would say anyone is his "biggest opponent," even if he felt it. He wouldn't admit it.

don't get me wrong. I don't say we need him at any cost. I want to see how the draft shakes out first, but he is the perfect PG fit next to RJ. Can handle, shoot and defend. He is a top 3 player for an nba champ and second round playoff team and still getting better.
