Beating the Clippers will be the ultimate test. Once we finish off the Rockets of course. Lets not channel the Warriors finals display.

The defensive strategy of chasing the Rockets off the three point line is brilliant. Same with taking away Harden’s left path. Simplistic and effective. They don’t like taking mid range jumpers, they prefer threes. Harden hates going right. Great strategy.

The double teams have been quick and crisp on Harden.

Eliminating D’Antoni, Harden and Westbrook will give some extra satisfaction, but let’s be mentally ready for the Clitters.

It’s gonna get good.

Green shot 40% from 3 last night, same clip as AC although Caruso's late 3 was more memorable. Danny also hit 60% in Game 2, (again forgotten bec of Morris's hot streak), shot well in games 3 and 4 vs Portland. It seems like every rotational player has at least 1 game where they were hot. Morris in game 2, Lebron and Rondo in game 3, AC and DG in game 4.
I am hoping Kuz will be next to find his shot, it's difficult though to find your shooting rhythm if your just taking 2 per game. Props to him though for a hustle, working hard to stay in front of his man, grabbing those rebs esp offensive rebs, minimizing bone head plays etc.

Yeah. Kuz is a rhythm and flow player. Hard to get to with AD and LBJ eating up 56 points every night. That’s why I keep saying he should just play defense, bring the pace up, take no shots other than assisted, for a bit. Catch and shoot. Off the dribble, he’s not a good shooter unless it’s layups.

With the Nuggets win, I feel like gm 5 is a must win for us. Have to maximize our rest before the Clips and take any advantage that comes our way.
It's a psychological victory if nothing else.

Danuel House got kicked out of the bubble. Guy should have kept it in his pants.

Wait, so you’re saying if the Nuggets lost and Clips clinched tonight, winning game 5 for the Lakers is not a must? :o

Max Kellerman yesterday predicted that Harden will have a huge game 5, and help extend the series but Lakers still wraps in 6.
It's not a crazy theory esp with how Harden has been struggling lately, I mean he's due for eventually finding his shot but what Max might be disregarding is that Rocket's mental state might have checked out already. There's a fair chance most of them have packed their bag already and their "vaunted defense" may not be there anymore just like game 5 that Portland played.
BTW, Denver came back from the dead in the 2nd half... I still remember when Clips led by CP3, Griffin were up 12 in the 4th quarter, about to clinch the series, then got beat by the torrid shooting by defensive role players like Josh Smith and Corey Brewer. Clips then got eliminated the next game... also how Phil Jax said there "WAS A CLIPPER CURSE" happening....

The Rockets can't keep shooting the lights out for 4th straight games. In Game 5 they will probably go cold, something between 29 and 33% from 3pt.

all we need is a 3rd guy to step up and share the load. Im gonna go out on a limb and predict....KUZMA. Kuzma shows up big, and we wrap up this series. Anyways, thats what the crystal 8ball says...

I thought the rockets have been shooting pretty spotty/inconsistently the whole series.

Id be not surprised if they had one game they were shooting 3 at a high clip the entire game.

But I hope youre right. The rockets shoot cold tonite.

Really exited to see how AC comes out tonight. Hopefully he can build on last game.

Im a little annoyed at the lack of love AD is getting by the media with all this Lebron focus. Im sorry but while Lebron is a top 3 player, AD actually looks like the best player in the league right now.

Eliminate!

Do NOT let them get off to a 15-3 start or some bs. The other way around, let’s come out playing like we want to kill their will to play. Shut them down from the first second.

Start strong and take their souls early in the game. No shenanigans.
