Boston doesn't have the length to disrupt DJJs energy game and would be much more effective than Nunn imo. Has the added benefit of adding a plus defender to a perimeter defense already featuring Jimmy,Bam,Jae and Iggy.

Fully agree. Can't believe I forgot to mention DJJ. He's another guy I can see on Kemba. Would prefer him than Nunn in the main rotation

A pats fan? :o I can’t stomach any Boston sports.

I wonder if Spo will take a page out of Nurse's playbook and use the box and 1 to handcuff Kemba? I mean he was willing to use the wall blueprint for Giannis. That would be coo

And as a team we're shooting 38% on 14.1 made 3s per game in the playoffs, an absurd .599 TS% overall LESSSSS GOOOOOOO

Yeah. Been a fan for a little bit longer than a Heat fan actually as Zo brought me to Miami with him.

The fans are just cocky, low IQ, aggressive, and overconfident as a whole. No other fan base is like them. Not LA, not NY. They're in their own class. I rarely visit my other forum, patsfans, as I leave feeling worse than when I came.

I wonder the same about Kemba. MIA was a heavy zone usage team this season, correct? It really gave him fits against TOR and I'm not sure MIA has a good 1 on 1 matchup for Kemba.

And yes, that's what terrifies me as a Celtic fan is some game(s) MIA is going to be bombs away from 3 and just avalanches the C's.

I don't see why Boston is so hyped they literally had Siakam throwing games away and it still came down to the end. They only closed because of the talent gap with Siakam playing like an idiot, the clutch factor on this team is not that great.

Honestly, Miami's best 2 matchups for Kemba are probably Bam and Derrick Jones Jr

Heat play a lot of 2-3 zone and it wasn't very successful vs Celtics in large part because Hayward was the perfect zone buster above the FT line. As I'm sure you know Hayward is nearly automatic from midrange and at the rim plus he's an excellent playmaker. So he had a tendency of collapsing our zone then finding the open shooter

But has already been mentioned we have 2 extra wing defenders now, so hopefully Spo will adjust appropriately. I missed most of the MIA/BOS bubble game so I'm not sure what D we were running

I'm hoping we run with a pentagon and 3 defense vs Boston.

Play hard, play loss and if the outside shots fall (critical) we're going to the finals.

dont really have any prediction or what to expect from this series... two talented rosters , two great coaches, no HCA for either team, its going to be a battle in the trenches. I expect spo to takes advantage of the 5 downlow with bam... theres no way that theis guy can keep up with bams athleticism.. We should give bam the ball regularly and let him take theis on, which will create a mismatch opening up shooters once boston has to start doubling. We are going to need duncan robinson to play better and DJJ should play over nunn who has been ice cold. Bostons one advantage has to be tatum, hes the best player in the series and can beat you many ways. This is where jimmy butler comes into play, his will has to be stronger than tatums ability in this series. all in all, great matchup. A rival meets again and in the ecf this time.

Jimmy said it right, smart is just an actor, this series will depend on how much referees bite into his antics and how much the NBA wants Boston and a Lakers final... think everything else balances itself out

Gonna need a big Game 1 from Bam to set the tone against the Suckdicks.

Return to Miami Heat
