Danny Green is as bad offensively on a fast break as he is good defensively.

AD has missed LeBron a couple of times as well.

He's very loose with the ball. Lots of bad TOs

This is the problem when you start off playing too well and guys like Danny Green, Morris and KCP are carrying the offense. When these guys sat down you got a disengaged AD and LeBron who took his foot off the gas a bit and played with some bad spacing out making him to force the issue.

He is managing his energy in case he is needed to exert himself late.

It’s smart.

Most of what he has done is make outside shots. Rondo running plays allows him to stand in the corner and conserve energy also.

Conserving energy is one thing but he and the team started playing lazy, hence the turnovers.

Lakers having to play Morris at the 5 this series is a blessing going forward. It’s a much better lineup for LA going forward and now Vogel will trust it

Glad AD seems to be getting his random lazy game out of the way now instead of game 1 wcf

2016 finals lebron converted me so im going with that year lmao

Made me go through 4 straifht years of being on the losing end, im 8/2 past 10 years i think lol

Lmao this boutta be dumb as hell but I'm one of those that thinks winning a chip makes you better loll so I can't put 2016 over 2017. Especially with the shooting improvement

But he won in 2016 tho lmfao

I think the idea is that the confidence from winning a title takes your game up a level the following season. There was a ton of pressure on Bron to win one in Cleveland so I can buy that having that monkey off his back let him play more freely and confidently

Only 24 minutes for LBJ after 3 quarter!

With a 26 points lead, will Vogel put LBJ in the fourth quarter?

17/18 Lebron was definitely quicker/more explosive off the dribble than 2016 w/better finishing and much better at pressuring defenses driving to the basket plus was a better and more consistent shooter everywhere on the floor, especially in the postseason (15/16 were down years for his shooting after 2014). I think his playmaking/offense game management & control was better as well.

Additionally, I think those two years, especially the postseason, was when he finally figured out how to not let up on the scoring aggression, in a way we hadn't seen since back in 09; much more Jordan-esque than the 2011-2016 stretch, but without the tunnel vision. All that drove his offense way higher than previous years, 17 a bit above 14 and 18 a bit above 17. With positive defense in 2017 and break-even in 18 that's enough to put both years above 2016 for me.

I think you can make the objective basketball case for him getting better aside from just increased confidence.
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"
