Nuggs. Play best when their back is against the wall.

If they had a healthy Barton I think they could win it all.

I thiink Westbrook can still wotk. They need one more season together because both are ball hogs. They are just not used to playing off ball.

D'Antoni appears to be a candidate for the Sixers job. Him coaching a team in which both stars can't shoot seems like a recipe for disaster.

One more irrational-confidence scorer in the bag of tricks could've done it.

They are a surprisingly bad team in many ways, that just has lives with a deep supply of many streaky offensive options and a zen-master point-center.

Gary Harris has been a legitimate two-way boost though. They would've put Utah away in 5 if they had him.

Ha. It would be the final dumb move of this Sixer's FO before everyone at their HQ is sent packing.

Jokic has been very impressive, reminds me of Dirk with more playmaking, the way he's hitting those high jumpers out of the mid post and 3s.

2011 Dirk Playoffs: 27.7 ppg 8.1 rpg 46% 3P%
2020 Jokic Playoffs: 25.4 ppg 9.6 rpg 44.6% 3P%

I would hate for Denver to go thru just for Lakers to beat them 4-0 like an overmatched Cinderella team.

The Nugs are not a chump, fraud team like Houston. They are an actual team. The Lakers won’t just roll through them.

Remember, the Rockets were a couple of seconds away from losing to OKC. They really weren’t even a legitimate second round team.

I would love to see it, and then love to see it fail epically. I want D’Antoni completely out of the NBA once and for all. He’s an idiot for leaving Houston, where the personnel and the GM’s willingness to play the fraud ball game, made it appear the emperor still wore clothes.

If Pringles goes somewhere that isn’t willing to win regular season “championships” with iso ball and jacking threes, maybe we can finally be rid of his poisonous philosophies once and for all.

What if the Bulls hire him? lol

jk- I know he would never come here and I know that JR would never sign off on hiring him.

It’s basically the only thing the Bulls could do to lose me as a fan. I have an extreme hatred for what the Rockets have done, and what Pringles has peddled for years, and legitimately believe it has the potential to ruin the entire NBA. I will not support it under any circumstances.

I love the sport more than I love any one NBA or college team. And I consider D’Antoni, Harden, Morey and those emulating them to be a threat to the game itself.

I mean, I'm not gonna lie, I don't particularly like it either, but I don't feel it's their "fault". They found a statistic loophole that allows them to win games, and it only exists because of the way the league changed the rules of perimeter defense. If defenses were allowed to be what they were during our dinasty, then things would be different.
What I mean is that even if I don't like it, I don't begrudge them for doing it. Also, I feel that if the league doesn't change the rules, the truth is that this works. Had they kept Paul (or managed to flip him for someone that worked well in this system), things might have worked out for them.
Regarding Houston's situation I still feel that Harden has a lot of fault in this for demanding Paul's head and lobbying for Westbrook. Then there's Morey, who went and actually approved a trade that spent assets to acquire the worst contract in the league. IDK if D'Antoni approved of this, he had to make it work, and I think he did his job well enough.

And the Jazz were a Mike Conley shot staying down from beating the Nuggets. Both were incredibly close series. Calling one illegitimate and the other not is silly.

Neither team have someone who can check Bron or AD. So I can see the Lakers beating the Nuggets in 5. I think only the Clippers and Heat have a good shot at the Lakers.

is being taken 7 games by OKC w/o westbrook for most of it really worse than being taken to game 7 by the jazz? the jazz and thunder had the same regular season record

will he have been seen as a success in houston if he leaves now? if not, it's been a long time since he had success in phoenix. not sure why any team would be keen on bringing him in

his stock would be significantly higher now had the team just hit a few 3s when they had a shot to take down the warriors

My question is, are the two L.A. teams that much better than only the rest of the West, or that much better than the entire league? I don't know that answer. We'll find out in a couple of weeks. If the answer is Yes, though, the Finals will be a snoozefest, because those Western Conference semis were DULL.

I feel the clips have a chance at beating the lakers where as denver would just be a tough out. Very true about the Rockets, i think people are still thinking about the 2018 team that almost beat the KD Warriors, this version was nowhere near as good.
