That is not how it works. Jokic is who he is because of the childhood years spent playing like a hot dog point guard before growing into a centers body.

You've seen how Wiseman plays. He's a long-striding, full court athlete who got badly outplayed most recently by Evan Mobley(whom I would love to draft with the TWolves pick next year).

Yeah...come on. What about Jokic makes him great because he's 7'? Most of his damage is from three point and his ability to pass. If he was 6'9" he'd be fricken Luka D.

Anyway...his skills at carving up a defense and shooting from three are all things Wiseman has shown no hint of being able to do.

BTW...still open to Wiseman but...come on.

I'm totally hoping Denver can pull this off...but I'd be pretty shocked.

Even though they're the perfect example of acting arrogant without earning it, I want the Clipps to make it through because they're the only team that can beat the Lakers. But if they don't it will provide some meme material for Kawhi who nobody in the media is capable of criticizing.

Jokic, at least for now, is one of a kind. He may very well be the best playmaker in the game.
He would be a great playmaker if he was 6' 3'', but his genetics made him 7 feet. It's not a trend that can be followed. He has an instinct that only a few have. Maybe only Arvydas Sabonis was comparable to him in this regard. Maybe.
Anthony Davis and Embiid are as skilled as it gets, but they can't lead a contender as the first option, AD needs a top 2 player ever to even be contending and Embiid isn't doing much better.
I highly doubt Wiseman will be anything even close to resembling Jokic, he's a totally different kind of player and he doesn't have that passing instinct that Jokic has.

Why would a win-now team like the Clippers take such a deal? It would work only for a rebuilding team, which is also the reason the Warriors may want to trade their picks.

My delusional projections are just saying Wiseman is going to be better than what most people are projecting him to be, by that I mean multiple Allstar and Allnba appearances with maybe 1 dpoy and all defense teams. If he comes to the Warriors he will earn how to be a playmaking big, he is extremely intelligent and very coachable. IF he goes to another team, all he will do is score and protect the rim. And I will die on that hill no matter what. I still want Bane on this roster, at least he will hit shots, defend and pass
