Karma for what exactly?

For Lawrence Frank scouting every Raps home game

For Kawhi using Drakes house to meet with Paul George during FA

For Kawhi basically walking away from running it back (which he likely would have).

It is what is is though

So its clear now that the narrative of the Raptors championship season being that "it was all Kawhi and that he carried Raptors single-handedly" and "Kawhi didn't need the Raptors" is all BS. It wasn't a one man show.

This is complete vindication for Raptors championship season that Kawhi clearly needed the Raptors in every way shape and form.

Karma to the Clippers franchise for tampering when Kawhi was still a Raptor by sending Lawrence Frank, Karma for Uncle Dennis, Karma to Ballmer -- his money can't buy everything.

Good luck on your future. :)

What a waste to have Kawhi playing on this joke of a team. Never trust a team full of players who gloat and before they actually win something worth bragging about...karma is for real.

Fixing coaching is the first step. We don’t need major moves and I agree a playmaker, true backup C, and wing would do wonders

well actually you're blaming the Front Office here truth be told

I’m confident in the front office and the roster it built this season. This had little to do with the players the pieces were there but if you refuse to put them together and have agendas it won’t work. In truth we barely escaped the Dallas series because of injuries but we we continued to ignore issues and adjust.

I have complete faith in the front office they just have to remove the trash at the helm

It all starts with Doc. Lob City had this same problem with the same coach. Doc set the culture of acting like you've won ten rings before you've even made it past the second round.

I wouldn’t say it was karma. The clippers just didn’t play hard or good. Denver wanted it more

No thanks. They did nothing to stop this meltdown either. We need to totally get away from the Doc era and the culture he's built. We need a new voice from outside.

Uh, Nick Nurse was an assistant under Casey for years...lol

Not completely Docs fault. Denver were amazing! Jokic 22reb triple double and Murray a 40 pt game!! vs the LAC stars that could hardly put the ball through the hoop. Kawhi and PG 10/38 fg, 4/18 from 3pt. Ouch.

Well, to the clipper fans here. It's been enjoyable sharing this board with you guys. We bickered, we enjoyed wins, and we lamented losses, but I'm glad I had some place to talk basketball.

Thanks for the experience.

As for doc, eff doc.

Casey wasn't in charge of two of the most excruciating playoff collapses in sports history. You can't just promote from within after a failure like this.

You're trying too hard now, the Raptors were known for collapsing in the playoffs every year despite being one of the top teams in the east

Literally nothing the Raptors did was as bad as this chokejob or the Houston series. They usually lost to teams that were significantly better than them.

Thank you, Lob City, for getting me fully prepared to handle this kind of moment.

Confidence and momentum are real things. Props to Denver, they kept fighting (why wouldn't they?), but this was mostly on us. Door was left wide open in the 4th for a comeback, but we were already packing our bags.

You don't lose two crucial games in a row in pretty much the same fashion without it having a huge mental impact. Then you look at the well rested Lakers team waiting in the next round and maybe you decide that checking out early might not be the worst thing.

Say what you will about soft superstars, poor role players and all that, but coaches do play a part in avoiding and getting out of such situations. Why exactly do they get paid millions and have a staff the size of an entire team?

You will never get a solid 30 minutes from Zu in the playoffs when you never bothered giving him more than 20 in the regular season. Couldn't try him out against Chicago or Atlanta in the 4th, but then you expect him to come up big against Denver.

All season long we gave away big leads like candy and our offensive system was suspect, plus various other issues. But we had Kawhi & PG, surely they could fix everything themselves by simply hitting shots. Coaching sure does seem easy.

Complaining constantly about Doc during the regular season is pointless and annoying, because his seat was always safe. But now it's not, and our FO better act fast. Let's finally move on from the players' coach to an actual coach. I do think he's very well equipped to handle issues that are bigger/different than basketball, hope he still gets to put those skills to good use.

See y'all next year and go Miami!

I dont understand you raptors guys. You should be thankful that Kawhi wasn't on your roster anymore. Haven't you see how he played?

He's also someone does shady things with his camp as you mentioned? WHy do you even bother that he's gonna running it back for your Raptors?
2023 Clippers W/L Count (51-31)
(Russ at bench 42-15)

Feel bad for you true Clipper fans but couldn't be more happier they lost tonight.

Get a new coach and move some pieces around, and ya'll will be a top dog again next year.

Remember when some of us were accused of "overreacting" and "being too negative" for being mad that the team basically didn't show up for an entire quarter of playoff basketball in Game 2? Those were the days.

Newsflash for all the newer fans out there: this is why some of us are so "negative." Because the Clippers always do this and have never once proven themselves as a franchise when it matters. So whenever the Clippers show a lack of killer instinct in the playoffs, people are going to assume the worst, because the worst has literally always happened.
