Avdija reminds me of Dumplevy. I hope Dumplevy being a scout does not end up Avdija as GSW pick. I see Avdija a KMart version of Dumplevy.

I rather go for the homerun pick in Wiseman and hope he can be a young Howard. I remember Howard coming out of high school. His only upside, a physical 7 footer. No talk about basketball skill in the scouting report.

Howard still doesn’t have skills.

Edwards could be like Harden, though he’d have to develop a foul-hunting game, but he could be some crazy shotmaker.

If we want to trade the rookie, Edwards would be the best. If Minny doesn't draft him, we should take Edwards, he holds the best trade value.
If we want to keep the rookie, Wiseman or trade down a few spots for Avdija.
In any case keeping the rookie means he will need time to develop, so it will decrease our chances to win now, but on the other hand it could save the franchise future.

Edwards Is a terrible 3 point shooter, I just don’t see a high ceiling In today’s game, but he has a high floor and can contribute fastest.

Or just package the number 2 pick and Wiggins or draymond for someone. YuP im in the trade draymond camp If a great deal arises, his best days are behind him imo.

Yeah. But we can be sure that Warriors are going to get a long hard look at Wiseman. If they end up picking him it's because he's worth it.

But IF Warriors could get a Beal for Wiggins and the Pick....And that has a pretty high chance of being taken by Wizards IMO.

No Beal, he don't play defense. Warriors need player that not just shoot great but play great D and have great defensive awareness. No way Steve Kerr is going to be happy playing a 1-dimensional player.

I’m all for trading the #2 pick for a star. Not for Aaron Gordon though. I’d only be interested in Gordon if the asking price was something like our lottery protected 1st next year.

Now....Giannis, Beal, Simmons, ect...that’s a different story. Of course I’d package the 2nd pick for those guys.

No, not Beal. His defense is awful.

Wiseman is really smart and looks like the type of who will constantly be improving his game. Especially with the way basketball is being played now, he knows he'll need to elevate his shooting and ballhandling in addition to the traditional big man skills.

Even if all Wiseman does is rebound, block shots and set hard screens his rookie year, that would be extremely helpful. Warriors get outrebounded so much and they could use help defending the paint against slashers like Harden and LeBron. Blocked shots and rebounding help fuel the running game which adds so much momentum in games, too.

In the Israeli league.

67% from 2, 39% from 3, 58% from FT.

If a guy can shoot 67 and 39 from the field....I'm pretty confident he's going to be able to shoot mid to 70% from the FT line.

Unless it is a fire sale from the other team, we can't trade the pick and more for a guard. Drafting a guard because we think it is in the best of the team either immediately or down the road is fine because we aren't mortgaging more than that single pick.

Ive zeroed in on Wiseman which is bad news for you Wiseman folks cause we almost never draft who I want (for better or worse).

I recall being pissed about...
Jamison (over Carter)
Jrich over (forget the dudes name but he ended up killing himself i think)
Foyle over Tmac
Whoever we took over Brogdan
Poole over Bol (although i didnt expect Bol to be avail)

The only guys i remember wanting pre-draft that we actually got were Gilbert Arenas and Joe Smith... again hit and miss.

God help us all. In Bob I trust... (?)

Edit: The guy I wanted in 01 was Eddie Griffin and apparently it was a drunk driving event where his vehicle was hit by a train not a suicide.

Yeah, I'm pretty convinced they are not going to draft Wiseman even though he seems like the obvious choice. I really think that they think they're smarter than everyone else ("light years") and they will overthink it and pass on Wiseman (see: Jordan Poole). I hope I'm wrong but I have a gut feeling that they'll go in another direction. That said, there's a lot of guys in the top 10-ish that I do like and wouldn't be completely horrified to have but I'd rather have Wiseman.

A couple weeks ago Kerr said he hadn't talked to Wiseman which seems like not that great a sign. It could just be that they are really focused on getting him into a workout and talk isn't going to get them anywhere more yet. We'll see.

Yikes. Rumors from the Wiretap. Warriors believed to prefer to draft wing player.

The Golden State Warriors are believed to prefer to draft a wing with the No. 2 pick, sources from multiple front offices tell Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer.

"Everything is on the table for the Warriors with this pick," writes O'Connor. "They could stay put, trade down, or move entirely out."

O'Connor has the Warriors selecting Deni Avdija in his mock at No. 2 going after Anthony Edwards to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

O’Connor is the first writer to make sense

I’m OK with ADVIJA but a trade down for a FSU wing sounds delicious..my best case scenario is to trade completely out of this sh*tfest

Avdija is 6'9", will play backup SF behind Wiggins and possibly even the 4 for death line-up style rotations for scoring bursts?

Deni is not a volume scorer and there's no reason to believe he would be in the NBA.

yes I like him..he’s a solid incredibly versatile defender and already and a natural playmaker on the break..very good court vision and strong ball handling but needs to learn to use both hands ..

.weaknesses are his shooting and finishing at the basket..but he’s a kid..if his shooting numbers ever do match up with his shooting form? Deni could be a real player..
