Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics - Game 2, Thursday, 17/09 @ 7:00PM EST

Post#1 » by Wiltside » Wed Sep 16, 2020 5:02 am

Game is Friday, 18/09 at 9am in the Wilt Zone for those playing at home.

Keys to the game:
- Make Tatum work harder. He hit tough shots but 30/14/5/3/2 is a big line.
- Keep Walker quiet. He had a rough series vs Toronto and had a poor 1st game. Let's keep that misery going.
- Hope Smart cools off. He's the guy you want taking the shots, annoying af when the dude hits 6 treys and pullup 20 footers FOH.
- Early aggressiveness from Butler; need Jimmy in attack mode from the get go. I love the late game heroics, but more O needed early.
- Bam with decisive moves. He has the mismatch. Theis is a solid defensive big but Bam needs to look for his O. Makes the game easier on Duncan, Gogi, Tyler etc.
- Continue to hit our threes. 16/36 in game 1, good for 44%. Keep the movement going and get the looks - be nice to get Duncan untracked.
- Continue mixing up our defensive coverages; zone worked well at times and at others they found the open man through continued pressure and smart passing. Keep mixing it up and keep them off balance.
- Less Nunn and more Iggy. Self explanatory.

You could tell Boston was feeling extremely tired late in the game. The series against Toronto was grueling, especially the sixth game in double overtime followed by a very physical final game and this overtime. Miami has rested well and eventually this will be a major factor in our favor.

For real when is Joe Ingles a FA?

Got a nice looking Vice jersey ready for him tbh, we may need a KO stan replacement post-2021.

Joe's signed until 2021 szn OP. it's very comforting to know that we have such a nice fallback option in a form of Joe Ingles should we fail to land our target FAs in 2021 op :)

Iggy minutes surprised me. I know he's no spring chicken, but surely he can handle more than 15. and this matchup seems made for him

Iggy is such a winner

phucked around this season and got a lucrative extension and might go to finals after upsetting one seed lol
