Paul george is the biggest fraud star in elague history and the biggest cancer of the past 40 years. he makes everyone around him worse and all of his stats are completely empty.
Paul George games 5 and 6:
Game 5: 26/6/6 on 18 shots
Game 6: 33/6/3 on 21 shots
That's essentially supercharged #2 production and Kawhi's Clips still blew those games. Call them "empty stats" all you want but those points count on the scoreboard and they got the Clips sufficient leads to win the game. At some point the blame falls on the guy people are talking about as the best player in the game
You have to look deeper than his "empty" 33pts in Game 6. LAC lost by 13 pts and Kawhi was a -1 and PG was a -23. That -23 is big and that means they lost the game when Kawhi was resting on the bench and, in particular when PG was on the court without Kawhi when Denver made their runs. Thus it was Kawhi's supporting cast - PG in particular - that lost Game 6.
If you look at Kawhi's playoff stats 2019 (e.g., 30pts/9rbs/4ast) vs. 2020 (e.g., 28pts/9rbs/5ast), they're similar. Kawhi also had off games in Toronto, but the difference was Toronto's supporting cast played better in the playoffs than the Clippers' supporting cast. And we see now how good that Toronto team is with the 2nd best record in the league in 2020 and almost making the ECF.
