That and Kemba is looking like a good regular season weapon, but not really good for the big games. All while being a really suspect defender..

The mission for this game needs to be cleaning up the perimeter defense. Wayyyyy too many open 3’s given up. Can’t do that with this Heat team. They shot their way back into it because we let their snipers get open look after open look. Extremely difficult to win when you let your opponent shoot 44% from deep for the game

That's how miami has been winning games hitting 3 pointers isnt unusual for them. Allowing 44 points in the paint or whatever it was was the real issue.

And that’s my point really. We made their bread and butter easy for them. If they are making tough contested 3’s because they are a great shooting team then tip your cap and move on. But we didn’t make it tough on them at all last night. Crowder in particular had at least 3 or 4 shots with nobody within 15 feet of him. That simply cannot happeb

I would consider playing Kanter. I watched Jokic who's a complete stiff play out there and I'm starting to think that Kanter can punish these guys on the glass. Maybe I'm crazy, but I would actually try it if I was Brad. Go Theis then Kanter. Kanter can just blitz the screen and get back, long 2s are alright.

His defensive ratings are decent, btw. Before game 1 he had a d rating of 104. Which would've been ranked 3rd on the Heat(per a Raptors fan)..

Btw, kinda random, but I'm envious of the Raptors having FVV after watching him against us. I think he'd fit this team better than Kemba(regardless of whether Kemba is hurt or not).

Oh and we took IT for granted. I mean prior to his hip injury, he was obviously never great on defense, but he would tare Herro and Dragic apart on offense.

I know they’re supposed to say these things and it’s just player speak but reading some of the quotes (mostly Brown and Theis) about how they stopped playing after getting the lead, how they played really badly and that they’ll be different tomorrow, actually is helping me calm down about the next game.

This team hasn’t let us down for long all season and I’m gonna give them the benefit of the doubt until they actually lose this series. I really really love this team and I’m gonna ride with them all the way.

Yeah, Pierce made All-NBA third for the first time when he was 24 (2002). He made two more third teams (2003, 2008) and a 2nd team (2009) after that.
