No argument is a hell of a stretch. They were neck and neck in counting offensive stats, and Siakam is a better defender. Not to mention the Raptors were the better regular season team with arguably a weaker roster surrounding Siakam.
There’s an argument, and realistically it’s a 2a 2b type situation, not some clear cut winner.

Of course. But ADs defense isn't enough to put him over Jokic. The impact and gravity Jokic brings on offense is just too much. AD has a career history of being a fairly ineffective lead guy. He's perfect on the Lakers as a 2nd option.

Guys were able to put guys as they saw fit (some guys had multi position eligibility)
They wanted (the NBA) to get the best 15 players on here, and that meant that if the majority had our Lebron and Kawhi on their first team they would’ve been, however they didn’t.
This has nothing to with positional requirements and it simply was more people voted for AD over Jokic

Jokic is a great player but AD deserved that spot. Jokic is a better offensive player but Davis is a better scorer and a way better defender. His team is also the top seed in the West.
Davis 1st team was a no brainer imo.

Middleton, who can play SG if necessary, get more points (82) than both third-team guards, but didn't reach all-NBA third team because he is nominated as forward.
