the key for me in this series is the 3pt shooting of the Lakers supporting cast (Green, KCP, Morris, Kuzma)

I don't see Denver winning but can see a hard fought 6-7 game series, and hope for Denver taking it to Lakers and hope to just see a beaten up laker team going to the finals.... :banghead:

Lmao, still no credit to the Nuggets, they has shut down plenty of teams in the 4th quarter all season and the Clippers 3 times in a row, but lets just call it a choke.

It's crazy to call that a choke job when it clearly wasn't. In game 7 the harbinger for the win was rather obvious if a person knows what they are watching. In the 4th quarter Rivers moved Leonard onto Jokic and George onto Murray... Denver did what they always do towards the end of the 4th quarter they ran Murray/Jokic pick and rolls which made Leonard and George expend a ton of energy because they were maxing out their efforts on defense. That translated to a lot of short misses and off center shots from George and Leonard. That's Doc Rivers fault.

Nuggets are way better than Clippers.

PG would just piss himself when he sees Lebron and Lakers would walk all over them. Rivers would also get badly outcoached.

Now we get to see Jokic abuse AD and Murray run circles around old man Lebron.

This may be the worst matchup for the Lakers outside of Miami/Boston. I just don't think the Lakers fair well against teams with a deep bench. Denver and Miami nearly have an entire second unit that can really light it up on offense. None of these teams will stop LeBron or AD, but I don't know if the Lakers have the fire power. Lakers defense has been pretty stellar this season though, and maybe Denver isn't prepared for that.

I wanted Denver to best the Clippers, but only as a Clippers hater. I thought the Lakers would have beaten the Clippers in 5 or 6 games, but vs Denver I see the Lakers needing 7.

I’m most interested in having the narrative of the Nuggets winning 4 consecutive game 7’s to win the NBA championship. Only two more to go.

So this is the easiest matchup they have left then?

That's not saying much as all three can really test the Lakers defense and expose the Lakers lack of depth.

Wait a minute. The Clippers were hailed as the Laker stoppers all year long and now we find out the Nuggets are the Laker stoppers?

This is news to me.

Every post season team has better depth than the Lakers

I don't know man the Nuggets are young and hungry.

We may have vets and experience on our side but the Nuggets have youth.

I am biased so I pick the Lakeshow in 6.

I have no idea who's winning this series. I never do after 2016 and especially not after this year. Should be fun though.

Luckily for Lakers, they have Caruso and Danny Green instead :)))

They better not put Carusso on Murray. He's gonna get roasted.

Jokic got up this morning in a cold sweat releasing he's playing AD next, not Zulander.

I won't even be mad if Nuggets wins this series tbh. They helped us take out Clips and if they beat us, they truly deserve to win it all. That being said, Lakers in 5.

Lebron ain’t letting that happen

If AD the real DPOY let’s see what he does with jokic

I don't think he will stop Jokic, but I doubt the Nuggets will stop Daivs either. I kinda think both duos will get theirs and then in come the role players. Who will perform better.

I wanna see the same energy against AD and McGee.

He's probably playing Howard and McGee and if the Lakers go small, then he will defend AD. I think both will be able to score on one another.

BlazersBroncos wrote:Am I the only one that thinks Millsap matches up with LBJ quite well? Both have lost a step and obviously LBJ is more athletic / quicker but in terms of the bully ball that he is slowly relying on more, Paul has the strength to absorb alot of power. I think Millsap and Grant are decent matchups against LBJ. You cant stop him, but they can both him better than most IMO.

I think LAL wins sadly, but it will be a great series. Joker is just too talented to be stopped by AD, he can bull the hell out of him in the post and if you put Dwight or McGee on him, he is going to make them look foolish. I am much more worried about who guards the AD than anything else for Denver. His quickness and body control will give Joker fits.

Grant and Craig will also do a better job on lebron than anything Houston/Portland had to offer
