Jokic scoring want the problem. Jamal Murray killed the Clippers, and Jokic did his work creating and getting assists. Also the Clippers scored 33 points in the 2nd half. They had a lot of stops and held Denver to 22 points in the 4th,but didn't make any shots. Noah would not have helped at that point.
Reasonable.
So you think the Clippers needed more scorers? That would make sense for them to put in Reggie Jackson then.
Also, Lou Williams seemed NONEXISTENT to me in this series. As a Laker fan, the only player I truly feared on the Clippers was Lou. Dude can go off and look like a superstar on any given night, and I'm not certain we Lakers would have an answer (I'm not sold on Kuzma. Whenever I see him play, even when he's playing well, my mind instantly goes to 'damn. You could have been Lonzo.')
No, the team has enough scorers, they needed someone who was a better floor general, which they don't have. This wasn't a case of needing any player, I'm not saying the roster has no flaws, but this was execution and sucking. PG and Kawhi were 0/11 in the 4th and 2/18 in the 2nd half.
Certain sets were bogging down and they didn't know what to do, but in reality, they also got about three very good looks from 3 and could have cut it down to 7 points with 5 minutes left, and they missed them all. I believe it was Morris, Green and PG who all missed. So both their execution was off, AND they missed the majority of the good looks they did generate.
