Nothing screams more “Knicks” moves then trading away years of assets for CP3 and Russ’ contracts for the right to lose in the 1st rounds for a couple years n tank all over again then.

I’m waiting for them to top that by having Ewing strangled at center court and issued a lifetime ban for telling Dolan he wants him to sell the team to him.

Harden definitely shrank, but if Westbrook is going to play, it almost has to be him in this "system". Once they cleared the big men out and centers started guarding Westbrook, it is really up to him to be the main guy. If his defender is just going to hang out in the paint, it doesn't work well any other way.

Everybody saw the difference after the Capella trade and before COVID hit. It became Westbrook's offense and it was completely logical.

it was always going to be harden's team. regardless of his responsibilities he was not 100%. main thing is, i'm guessing everyone in the hou org and players are convinced they were playing at 80%. so as to all the speculation, they'll make moves to try and address things but major moves and wholesale changes?? no

I don't think it's that crazy - because it's the Knicks. The news that RW is not MVP anymore hasn't reached the streets of New York yet. If they pick up the phone and hear "Westbrook..." they will accept before they hear the end of the entire trade offer.

Honestly it would make sense.

Knicks suck, so why not bring in the 1 man team in Westbrook. He is at his best when he can be as selfish as he wants and put up big numbers.

If it doesn't cost them Randle, Barrett or Mitchell. Do it.

Team probably makes playoffs in the East.
