Bucks 'Highly Unlikely' To Trade For Chris Paul

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Sep 16, 2020 6:01 pm

The Milwaukee Bucks consider a trade for Chris Paul as "highly unlikely," sources with knowledge of ownership's thinking tell Eric Nehm and Sam Amick of The Athletic.

Paul is owed $41.3 million next season and also has a player option for $44.2 million in 21-22.

The Bucks would prefer to look elsewhere due to a combination of Paul's salary and also the uncertainity of how his personality would mesh with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are widely expected to consider a trade of Paul this offseason.

The personality would be fine.

Stars need to respect the mind of Chris Paul. The mental part is Chris Paul's job. That's what he does best. That's the job of a point guard. Other stars need to take a back seat for a few years and allow him to dictate game plans.

Agreed - Thunder did as well as they did this season because CP3 led the way.

He worked with Harden for 2 seasons he is the best option out there for the bucks.. I dont know if he is enough to get them over the line though Giannis would have to get a lot better

Giannis gave the Bucks a list of players this week so hopefully the team can show they care by getting someone from there. Giannis has always improved every year and he'll do so again.
