Ill offer this idea:
-If Pistons select a PG with #7 and want to acquire some raw prospects
-Clippers upgrade the backcourt with limited assets
To Detroit:
-Rodney McGruber (1 year, $5.2 million)
-Mfiondu Kabengele (1 year, $2 million plus T.O.s)
-2022 2nd round pick
-2023 2nd round pick
-2024 2nd round pick
To Los Angeles
-Derrick Rose (1 year, $7.7 million)
Why?
-Detroit moves on from Rose if they select a PG at #7 and get further depth to fill out roster with rookie contract/prospects
#7/FA?/Bone?
Kennard/McGruder/Snell
Doumbouya/Mykhaliuk/FA?
Griffin/Wood/FA?
Maker?/Kabengele/FA?
-LAC upgrades its top 8 rotation by adding Rose in backcourt w as it gives them furt
Beverly/Rose/FA?
Williams/Shamet/Mann
Leonard/Harkless?/FA?
George/Green?/FA?
Zubac/Harrell/FA?

Re: Rose to LAC
I just don't think highly of future Clipper 2nds: they're not nothing, but I'd expect them to be pretty close to nothing. So unless Detroit really likes Kabengele, I suspect they look elsewhere (or tell the Clippers to consolidate for a better asset and send that to Detroit).

I’d probably look to do Green/Shamet for Rose if I’m Detroit

I suspect Detroit would want a 1st for Rose either in 2020 draft or 2021 draft. As a late 1st round pick last year, I figured Detroit may be intrigued with Kabengele + the 3 2nds but its most likely their could be better offers in terms of quality vs. quantity of assets for Rose.

Re: Rose to LAC
Clippers should at least offer the pistons their two 2nds back, Mfiondu Kabengele , and Rodney mcgruder.
Clippers get Rose. Pistons take Rodney to cut him, a project big, and most importantly reaquire their ‘21 and ‘23 2nd round picks back.

Rose is worth more than some low end seconds. LAC needs to consolidate these pieces for a pick in the 20’s to get Rose.

I highly suspect the 2022 and 2023 seconds to be decent...Mid 40s.
If I am Detroit I want to keep being competitive and only trade Rose if I am blown away and this trade isn't it.

Weak offer, other teams can give more
And does Rose even solve their issues?

If the Pistons take back green and jackson and route them to the celts they can be offered the 26th (+equal salary Kanter, edwards and Semi)
