Very confused by the recent Schroder fascination tbh. This past season was the first where he was really any good.

Yeah, I'm very hesitant for that same reason. I get it though. He was admittedly pretty good this year and would at least be a young option that can grow with Giannis if we were to sign him long-term. If the cost to get him were the same or close, I would greatly prefer Schroder over someone like Rozier for example. Dennis is probably the most interesting young PG that seems to be available.

Quite the cliff hanger, enlighten me. What does Giannis need to figure out about how the NBA works?

Schroder has lower BBIQ than Bledsoe and is a bit of a douchebag too

Seems like the right stop to get on the train?

I'm skeptical, too.

Jrue Holiday is interesting, but his 3 point % is not much better then Bled.

If so, who thinks we'd beat the Celtics in the ECFs with home court advantage?

I do.

We're still so close. We don't need to tear it apart. I don't think they should overreact to the bubble. They do need to evaluate, and possibly overhaul, the PG/lead guard position (Bledsoe can't be relied upon in the playoffs and Hill doesn't always seem to care whether we win or lose) and add a quality wing shooter (or two). That's it.

Home court advantage. Bud tweaks his approach. Giannis stays healthy and makes FTs. We're in.

And how many more years do you wait for bud to tweak his approach hasnt done jack sh.. about adjusting or tweaking his approach in the last 2 years.
How long do we continue to have non shooters on our team bled wes etc yes its time for a big bomb of a trade

It's reported Bud has come to some realizations. Yes, it does suck that it may have taken two playoff collapses to get there.

And, yes, we do need more consistent shooters. This is the 2nd season in a row that our 3-point shooters went cold in the playoffs.

Bled's woes are obvious. And as much as I like Pat, he can't shoot. Wesley and his 40% from 3 in the playoffs, however, can stay. He's decidedly not in the "non-shooter" category.

Haven't absorbed all the nuance of the Giannis/CP3 stuff. But I wonder if the idea came up and it was explained how much would have to be given up to get Paul, at which point Giannis didn't feel the cost was justified.

Yea, Schroder isn’t the ball handler/decision maker that this team needs. His role for OKC was perfect.

Ik it's coulda, woulda, shoulda, but I'll do it anyways...

Take a step back, big picture...

They should have won it all last season. A Giannis FT or two away from taking a 3-0 lead on the eventual champs.

And I think continuity and Fiserv would've carried this season's team into the Finals.

So, winning without another superstar has been well within their grasp.

But why not improve the weaknesses of this team so that winning the championship isn't dependent on a couple ft's going our way?

Giannis not wanting a veteran leader like cp3 is kind of disheartening especially considering what Jamal Murray just said about him.

Let's be clear, we have no idea who Giannis wants and doesn't want. It's pure message board/internet click bait speculation.

And on the West team being injured.

Jrue's percents aren't way better but I'd venture a guess his off the dribble shooting is way more than Bledsoe. Not in percents, but that he's doing it way more and htose are more difficult shots. I'd be moe comfortable with him leading the PnR.

I’d suggest listening to today’s LOB and see if it doesn't change your mind on that. Both of those guys are plugged into The Athletic writers/Bucks people who are plugged into Giannis. They highlighted them same line about Paul being unlikely due to Giannis’s “strong personality.” Maybe things can change but I’m fairly confident that’s where they stand right now.
