Looks like LF will likely be his.

that makes more sense looking at it now.

With the Yanks near full strength on offense, someone's not going to play. Andujar is victim 1. Apparently he's not happy, but what can the team do? Every other position is filled now. Someone's gonna get squeezed.

So glad Judge and most of the team is back. Our starting pitching has been pretty good lately, now this offense has to put up . Voit should definitely get some MVP votes this year. Now let's sweep the Jays and win out the rest of the way. Just 3 games back of Rays. The division is still in play guys.

Is Higashioka here to stay? 3 home runs for a backup to the backup catcher . Might be better than Sanchez already.

His sh*tty defense is to blame.

Love Andujar but we have a logjam at the DH as is.

Higashioka needs to catch more. I am tired of Gary Sanchez and his .134 batting average. He is the only regular position player in baseball to not have a multi hit game this season.

Both Higgy and Kratz are better at the plate and behind the dish and its not even an exaggeration.

Yanks again with homer parade. Thats 18 homers in the last 3 games and they still have a couple innings to go.

And Ottavino may be finally breaking out of the funk he's been in. Teoscar Hernandez just stared at 3 pitches right down the middle of the plate from Ottavino for a strikeout to end the top of the 8th.

Man we slaughtered the Jays. I hope this woke the team up and they can carry this momentum from here on out. Our Starting pitching is pretty good and now we pretty much got all of our bats back. I just pray we can stay healthy the rest of the way. Those darn Rays keep winning.

And it looks like Paxton's tenure with the Yankees is probably at an end. He just got put on the 45 day IL. Yankees added Wynston Sawyer, a journeyman minor league catcher that they picked up in mid August to take Paxton's spot.

Hold up, the Yankees are gonna roll with 4 catchers? Do I have that right? Sanchez, Higashioka, Kratz and now this guy?

Well good, lets see if he can step up against better pitching, just talking having productive at bats and productive outs and keep our pitchers on their game. The funny thing about having your job on the line a little bit is it makes guys step up. For instance Gardy going to the bench now that Judge and Stanton are back(knock on wood) all of the sudden he has stepped up, or Happ stepping up after being skipped in the rotation. Earlier in the year Ford was splitting time with Voit now look at Voit this year.

 Cash really digging the bottom of the barrels here. Sawyer was an mediocre minor leaguer with little power or hit ability and has never played a game in the majors. I'd have just gone out and brought Russell Martin back to fill out one of the backup catcher roles instead of having to go with Kratz and ol' Wynston here cause you don't know that you can rely on just one of those guys if something happens to Sanchez.
