I agree, otherwise it's pointless to create such teams. My intention is to re-evaluate some players relative to their positional contemporaries. Making a team full of wings and one center doesn't make any sense to me.

I wasn't suggesting making it positionless. What I was suggesting was about a little bit of flexibility.
The issue with per75 numbers;
36pts on 27 fga/9 fta in 36 mins, does this mean he'd keep up the efficiency to get 48pts on 36fga/12fta in 48 mins?
The answer; NO. He's human, not a linearly working machine.
Per75 is efficiency rate, not actual production.

I'm down but my participation won't be super consistent like usual, sorry for that.

This actually sounds really fun and interesting. It’s different than the typical projects. I would be happy to join.

Mmkay, was just curious, since we're voting for 1 team at a time how will the 2nd/3rd teams work? Will it just be everyone voting on them - so unlike NBA there won't be a points system for guys who don't make the 1st team but do get 1st team votes?

Yeah, I thought that voting for all three teams at the same time would be too much per one thread. We will vote 2nd team without players that got in the "official" first team.

Yeah that's right. It is that way to get some discussion about players instead of just voting all 3 teams at once.

I just saw the notification, and since I really need something to take my mind off of a few things, I'm in honestly.

That Harden ankle breaker on Rubio was on 2015? Daaaaamn, time flies.
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

Would have Paul in Wade’s spot.

Feels bad not having Marc on these, but I guess it makes sense. Also tempted to put Conley in at one of these spots, but I guess will leave it. Unfortunate exclusions for Memphis.

Pretty obvious. Nash over Kobe would be a spicy take, but will leave it haha.

Hmm. Feel mixed on Dwight here but do not see a clear substitute. Brand over Durant for me.

C: 2008/09 Pau Gasol

Would have put Artest in at forward for Brand (thus kicking Durant off entirely; really dislike that vote). Also mixed on Pau, but again, no clear options at centre. Manu does not belong here; I would have first taken Baron or even also Areans or Ray (very good still!) over him. And that is not me undervaluing Manu; his best years were just 2005 and 2011.

Okay, McGrady literally played shooting guard for his 2003 season. So I am putting that over Kobe.

Kobe over Manu. Could potentially argue Ray versus Kidd but will leave it. Vince comes in for McGrady.

G: 2004/05 Dwyane Wade
G: 2000/01 Ray Allen
F: 2000/01 Vince Carter
F: 2001/02 Paul Pierce
C: 2000/01 David Robinson

Manu in for Wade. Will note that 2002 Pierce played shooting guard, but 2005 Pierce was better anyway haha. Webber in as replacement for Carter. Jermaine over old Robinson.
