I know what Kyrie and Durant said about staying. Giannis is neither of those dudes. He’s talking like a guy who’s planning on staying. I believe him.

We know Giannis is the MVP. LeBron could get a legacy gift MVP from voters but it's been Giannis. Try to diminish him but he's earned all of his accolades.

I've never had reason to doubt the guy. Only him coming out and explicitly saying "I'm signing elsewhere" could've convinced me. What a treasure.

Remember when we used to complain about Baddy Jennings getting snubbed from the All-Star game? lol.

Giannis cleverly announcing his intentions to sign with the Knicks just like Scoop B reported

Giannis saying he's got two great agents and they'll put him in a great situation, either with the Bucks or another team, doesn't sound awesome.

Yea, I didn’t see that quote floating around anywhere.

Nehm tweeted the positive quote from Giannis and some guy in the replies said, yea but what about the other questionable stuff he said...

also if the playoffs have to do with anything, let's all wait till after this current WCFs because the Lakers haven't played an actual team yet

For those wondering where this came from, it wasn't included in the 10 minute interview Ernie Johnson did with Giannis, so I'm not sure where exactly this clip is coming from, but it's obviously real. I suppose at least he reiterated at the end that he wants to be in Milwaukee for the rest of his career as long as the Bucks want to win championships

Is it against the CBA for him to indicate he would sign an extension with the Bucks?

I'm not sure if he can publicly say it or not, but he could in the very least leak it out like Donovan Mitchell did if he wanted to.

I just checked and it is against the CBA for a player to outright address contractual talk with any teams until the day before free agency. However, teams and players break these rules all the time with leaks (which we have gotten technically saying he intended to stay / the bucks were going to offer the super max). But they can explicitly say what they intend to do contractually.

I'm 75% - 80% he'll re-sign but these two completely opposite quotes of his intentions sits weird with me a bit. idk why.

It sounds like the second take was cut footage.
