Cause we want Oubre and the 10th pick in NY? 8-)

Seriously though, yeah, it's a reach for sure.

There are interesting players assuming we're rebuilding through trade and free agency...

Beal, Jrue, Oubre ceratainly tier 1
Grant, FVV, Conley tier 2
Bertans, Hield, Myles Turner tier 3

Then there are these long shots you might luckily get if things take a crazy turn and you should keep an eye on: Giannis, PG, Booker, Jaylen Brown

1) I am not sure that a 31 year Jrue Holiday in 2021 is better than a 26 year Fred VanVleet in 2020 considering a 4 year deal.

2) I would eat Conley's salary only if we get something in return.

3) I am not sure if I would eat Hield salary. I root for a Randle/Hield trade.

4) The problem with trading for Giannis, Booker, Brown, Beal, PG13 and Turner is that it demands too many assets to get done. We only have few positives assets (RJ, Mitch, 8th pick, Dallas and our own picks), and these dont hold much value. As soon as we trade for a star, our own future pick miss great part of the value. RJ and Mitch still raw and not proven. If we could pull it a trade for a star, we would not have value left to build a team.

Signing FVV would be a terrible idea.

How about we develop Trier

Think he would want to come back after we cut him?

I would say nay... I'd rather take a shot of Isaiah Stewart or Vernon Carey being the less injury prone version of those guys.

Greek sounds more and more like he's out of Milwaukee.. time to offer a trade of RJ and all the picks we can muster and see if the Bucks bite..

IDK. These guys are still very young and still have super high upsides. Your way makes sense too. I'd probably swing for the fences.

All of them still have positive value. They would laugh in our face.

I hope we dont trade for a future FA if he is willing to sign here. I hope we have learned from the Melo trade.

By the way, if we do trade, we have to include Mitch in the deal. He would be an awful pairing with Giannis in the offense.

Do they? Maybe WCJ does cuz he's been okay when he's on the court but Bamba has been terrible and Begley hasn't been much better. Begley played like 14 games this year doesn't shoot threes or blocks shots. I still wouldn't do it but I don't think anyone is truly in love with them.

No way should the Knicks give up the 2021 Dallas pick for Chris Paul old ass. I'm here for taking Chris Paul if OKC gives an asset not if the Knicks are especially the 2021 Dallas pick.

Looking at free agents, and I've seen Christian Wood play a few times, but never really looked at his numbers....why was he let go by so many teams? The Pistons will obviously resign him, but why wasn't he on our radar when the Sixers or Pelicans let him go?
