My usual mantra that GMs need to be more lucky than good, but they still need to be good. Riley's success as a drafter with Bam, Robinson, Herro etc is luck (just like it is for pretty much everyone), but he and Spoelstra and crew have set up a culture that can take advantage of those draft successes.

People always want to either ish on a GM or calm him Midas, feel like it's disrespectful/fails to appreciate the actual work they do.

I think pure logic says adding giannis would make them even more deadly but isn't it possible it could actually set the team back seeming how the roster is currently constructed and gianiis would likely want the ball in his hands which could conflict with Jimmy butler and ball movement.

Butler isn't as ball dominant as one would think. He knows how to pick his spots. That said, it's a tad early to be talking about next yr already

When will people realise that PG is a trash can on the court in the playoffs. He was becoming something nice at the Pacers. He had a terrible injury. He is constantly suffering from chronic pain in his shoulders. His will to win is lacking.
