I just read that if Roberts sides with the Dems on an election issue then the Appeals court decision stands and the Trump administration has successfully packed those courts. This is going to be a **** show election if one side or the other doesn't win decisively. I can't see either side just accepting an election like that. Crazy stuff.

Strictly politically speaking. Who does RGB's passing benefit? Traditionally Conservatives get out to the polls over this issue but RGB is such an icon for Liberals it may be more likely to get them out. Interesting wrench in the dynamic. So many moving pieces this election. One for the ages.

Do the Republicans nominate a justice? Do they nominate one but not move to vet and confirm unless they win the election?
How would that change the dynamic?

Whether trump wins or loses, that seat will be filled by the time of the next inaugaration, Lindsey's said as much.

Well they will have a vote on it anyway. It's about to get real, real spicy.

It will make the Kavanaugh hearings look like a walk in the park.

Breaking: Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who refused to consider President Obama’s choice months before the 2016 election, said in a statement Friday hours after Ginsburg’s death: “President Trump’s nominee will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate.

Murkowski already said she would vote "Nay" on nominating a new SCOTUS justice before the election. Collins and Gardner are in precarious positions in their respective races. McConnell would cause them big problems if he tried to move forward on it. There may not even be enough time to do all this.

She should have stepped down when Obama was in office, pride got in the way. And, I haven't forgotten what she said about Kapernick, so no RIP from me.

First off. Show some respect.

Second a bunch of **** should not have held protest votes or not bothered to show up. This is what happens when you believe that both parties are the same or in the lesser of two evils. Americans are about to see what true evil looks like with a 6-3 Conservative Supreme Court.

I don't have to show her respect, what she said about Kap and the fight against racial injustice removed that from the equation. I won't disrespect her, but I definitely don't have to respect her either.

Both parties are not the same, Republicans are clearly interested in turning America into a fascist state, Dems however have been the Washington Generals to their Harlem Globetrotters just rolling over for them. True evil is just America getting back to it's old classics, what it was founded and built on.

I have a decent idea of what's coming, my parents lived through it.

I'm not a US citizen anymore, I'm a citizen of New York. I wish we would stop paying federal taxes, let these red states see what life is like without our money.

Whatever dude. The fact that she made ill informed statements about Kaepernick that she later apologized for doesn’t take away from the civil rights that she’s achieved through her career.

And it’s not the Dems that are the Washington Generals it’s the Dem voters that are the Clippers. They have all the talent, all the advantages but somehow managed to not bother to show up. And that’s exactly what it is. You have one job. Show up and vote for Democrats down the ticket every two years no matter what. If they had done that the past 10 years the country would be a lot closer to a Progressive paradise instead of the failed Facist state that it is now.

Here’s a little preview of what’s coming unless people get their head out of their ass and show up to vote for Democratic Party in record numbers.

The dems are def the generals. They pretty much bend over and give the repubs whatever they want with little resistance. Honestly, Im surprised they're holding off this long on the cough cough package

I must’ve missed the things the said about Kapaernik. What’d she say? I backed Kap from the beginning.

Return to New York Knicks
