Kawhi owes green both his dpoy awards

Kg was robbed in 2012. We had no business being the best defense with that cast

Kawhi def deserved it one of those years not sure which one

Holy **** he's mad about MVP results?? Why??

Giannis was definitely MVP and had one of the best seasons of all time. Bron's probably still the better player, but MVP?? Did he even have the best impact stats?

It’d be a bigger problem if LeBron wasn’t pissed off about it. A 4th ring will make up for it, though.

2012 was definitely kg or lebron to me. KG was the best defender in the league but lebron player way more minutes so thought he had a pretty great argument for overall defensive value.

Per minute value was kg no question.

Don’t agree about kawhi but his first one was particularly bad.

I mean I get the hunger aspect of it. But he should've been pissed about other years lmao

This is his best team ever.

Just imagine after this summer...

Not very sure it’s his best team though, it was just recently (before playoffs and whole season) where we were saying how we have no other ball handlers or shot creators.

Still somewhat true, but playoff rondo has helped a lot

Its wild ppl are still talking about Vogel like hes some 2nd rate coach. Hes not in the top tier of the absolute best but hes right below them at this point. His gameplans have been 2nd to none. And hes shown great adjustments too

Just looked it up and KG and bron finished 4th and 5th that year with 7 first place votes between them. Lol

I would still be inclined to say that his 2012 Miami team or 2017 Cavs team (when they lost vs KD Warriors) were his best teams. I feel like this team still has growth potential and they can add some more key rotation guys next season, which we'll definitely need if we were to match up with the Clips or Nets.

Why are you even in this thread if you get offended by some LeBron hype?

He is just mad that Lebron is a far superior player than Curry and KD ever were/are/will be.

Personally I get it. Imagine if this 5-year-older dude is better than your favourite player from his rookie season to when he retires. Must be frustrating to watch

This is LeBron's best team by far... Dude won't even have to break a sweat to win the title... which is bizarre after years upon years of intense grueling carry jobs.

Has to be said that AD, especially when he's hitting his mid-range/outside shots, is simply better than any version of Wade that LeBron has ever played with...When you account for his ability to scale/fit alongside other dominant ball-handlers and his versatility it's not even close, imo.

Defensively, this is the best team LeBron has ever been on. And it's not even close. He has a DPOY-level defender in Davis alongside him, he has elite rim protection from McGee/Howard, he has Caruso and Rondo who are both elite backcourt defenders... Morris and Danny Green are both solid. Not to mention an elite defensive coach in Vogel and no egregiously bad defensive sieves on the roster. Even guys like Kuzma/KCP are decent under the right circumstances.

Shooting-wise, those Cleveland teams were obviously better (some of the Miami ones as well, especially when Wade sat). But oddly enough, the Lakers are quietly putting up some great shooting numbers as a team... Obviously having 'stretch 4s' like Davis and Kieff/Kuz, as well as the ability to play both in the same lineup without giving up much to the other team, makes them extremely difficult to defend. But then you add KCP who is shooting 43% from three, Danny Green is at 38% and freaking Rondo at 47%... This team can knock down shots... Honestly, the only guys in the rotation that aren't threats punish you from outside are McGee/Dwight and Caruso... Everybody else is a threat.

Playmaking wise? It's tough. Prior to the start of the PS, i'd say no... But with the emergence of Rondo, it has given the Lakers something which any prior team LeBron was on never had... And that's another floor general who is a natural high level facilitator... Wade and Kyrie were great playmakers, but mostly because of their ability to drive/score and then make the obvious passes when the defenses reacted... Rondo's ability to run the pick n roll with guys like Davis/LeBron as receivers is unfair... Adds a whole different dynamic to the team... Speaking of Davis... At this point, i'm practically ready to admit he's become a better passer than either Bosh or Love... He's noticeably improved in that area and now actually makes some great reads/passes out there.

How long do you guys think this team can stay together? They look pretty freaking incredible at their best.

This could be the dynasty/dominant team some detractors use against Lebron. How long can he stay at this level though? Even 2 years seems generous given age. If only he was drafted in the West.

Also does anyone here still buy into the weak East narrative? I never did but this run might've changed some minds I imagine. Dude is thoroughly outplaying the best the West has to offer at 35.

A few say the west this year is the weakest in the last 20 years or so

He's just toying with the West this playoffs. Being head and shoulders above everyone in the league translates regardless of where you play. Lebron on any of the Spurs, Rockets, Clippers, Thunder with KD but no Westbrook, Nuggets, Pelicans would look just as good in the 2015-2019 years.

A few say the west this year is the weakest in the last 20 years or so

Well the league does succumb to the whims of Lebron's movement. The teams he beats suck, the conference he leaves gets stronger and the one he joins gets historically weaker. That is the Lebron effect.

This team is so good. I don’t see Denver taking more than 1 game in this series.

And Playoff Rondo man...
