Think there’s going to be more potential for back end roster gems than in a normal season. Europe is tipping off in three weeks. By the time the NBA gets into gear, overseas players will have had 4-5 months of paychecks in the bank, coaches will be getting fired and underperforming teams will be looking to make changes/reduce payroll. We could have more established vets willing to come over for training camp/partial guarantees than ever. Time for the Bucks to go find their PJ Tucker.

Unconventional Roster reconstruction

1) Khris to the Golden State for Wiggins + #2
2) Bledsoe + Wilson + #2 to the Bulls for Lavine and Luke Kornet (not sure if we can demand a pick swap here or Future Bulls 1st)

Now there are alot of ways to Go here with the Wiggins and I am aiming high ...

3) Wiggins + Rolo + Ersan + #24 + 2 Indys Second Round Picks to the OKC for CP3
4) Hill + Donte (+ a 2nd ?) for Fournier

CP3 / Mason
Lavine / Wes
Fournier/ Thanasis
Giannis
Brook/Kornet

Then I would target someone like Jerami Grant or Robert Covinghton, and a bench leader like Jabari

Kris, Donte, and Hill is significantly better than Lavine and Founier. Your defensive duo is a bad as any in the league.

I'm guessing OKC turns down that deal, I don't they want to be saddled with Wiggins.

Target Covington with what? No matter, he's won't be on the block.

I'll give you bonus points for getting Kornet. Smart cheap addition.

I was thinking about Brook Lopez for Robert Covinghton ... Giannis and Kornet play the 5
but then again I thought about CP3 could use a Big like Brook really well ...
As I said if we can get someting from the Bulls and add that to OKC ... I think its close

As for Defense ... it aint defenseball ,neither assistball , its basketball, so I am sure that you have heard that " best offense beats the best defense"
Having the best defender in the world and a coach to set a defensive scheme can help...
On offense though ... I added a General - CP3 , a lights out unconsious - zero hesi 3p shooter on Lavine that can put the ball down and attack the rim... Fournier another shooter and really smart player, he is something like Manu or Dragic, he can make good reads and make plays for others too.

Bucks get: Tyus Jones
Grizzlies get: Ersan, #24

Knicks get: Bledsoe
Detroit gets: 2021 Dallas 1st rounder (from NY)
Bucks get: Christian Wood in sign and trade, NY 2021 2nd rounder

Giannis united with his "little brother"
Taxpayer MLE: best wing we can land
The sign and trade could also be for Gallinari

A sign and trade for Wood would be equally as awesome as it would be infuriating. I like it.

First deal, I’d rather roll the dice on a point guard at 24 than Jones.

Acquiring Wood shows Giannis they'll do whatever it takes to win, including eating some crow. Teams would have a really tough time matching up when Giannis and Wood are on the floor together. Wood shot the 3 incredibly well last year too.

Jones is good, and just entering his prime. 15.7 PER shows he not just a low usage bystander. He defends, and shoots the 3. Super smart, no nonsense, Giannis will love him.

The PGs we'd draft this year might be good in time, but are years from being better than a replacement player.

I’m so ready for the offseason to start and see what this organization does. Not sure you can argue that this isn’t the most important offseason in Bucks history.

We lost by 11 in the game Bled didn’t play and an average of 5 in games he did.. not like he was the cause...

Bled was -12 in the series, Hill was -22, Giannis -32

It's almost like small sample +/_ isn't a useful tool.

Bledsoe for Christian Wood and some 2nd round picks?

Middleton and Bledsoe for CP3, Lavine, Kornet?

Are you guys just trying to push Giannis out the door? Might as well just trade Giannis while you can and trade everyone for picks because that won't get it done at all.

Is Damyean Dotson a free agent yet? I'd like to add him to the roster.

Christian Wood was more VORP than Bledsoe despite playing 300 less minutes. He had terrific on/off numbers. He average 22 points per 36 on 66TS%.

Giannis said get creative. Getting breakout 25 year olds that Giannis loves is just that.

While I agree that Bled needs to go as he's not NBA material, it is my opinion that the Bucks do not need major reconstruction. They were not too far off from winning the Heat this year, even with that hideous performance.

Throwing names in the air is a good way of hiding what the real problem is in the team. And that problem has a name: Mike Budenholzer

I still remember Bud's coaching during last year's finals when he was unable to come up a way to stop VanVleet who basically won the finals for them. Same problem with different players this year with Butler and Hero.

Spoelstra somehow managed to get 120% from average players like Herro, Robinson and Crowder by bringing all the different systems on the court at the right time, while Bud's only system was 'roster time-management' in case these 24 y.o. kids get tired. Simpy ludicrous. No offensive plans, no defensive plans. None whatsoever.

You could bring Kawahi and AD in this Bucks team and I can ensure you, Bud will have them warming up the bench so that he can fulfill the roster rotation.

No... Bucks - Horst - Bud & Co have already pushed Giannis out the door , he tries to get back in and we are trying to help him . Unfortunately we have zero tools (assets) to help him

Too many stats based trades thrown here, though we just witnessed that in the playoffs THEY DON'T TRANSLATE

Oh sht. Did we mess up on Wood? Everyone here said that he was an empty stat dude that inflated his numbers when teams stopped caring.

If we did, I'd be in support of an FO shakeup because their asset management clearly sucks.

Wood's advanced stats have him something like top tier player ... in reality I think Playoffs Bigs or guys like Bam will eat him alive.

You have to be careful letting your star player become your GM. Lebron screwed up some teams getting his friends payed with long term deals and then bolted. There is balance act between making Giannis happy and trying to win a championship. For example, putting his brother on the end of the bench makes Giannis happy and really doesn't make the Bucks any worse. If we signed Pat C to a long term deal because they are friends, that makes the Bucks worse. Basically the Bucks need to put together a championship roster without obliterating the relationship with Giannis. If we let him shape our roster next year and we get bounced early again, he probably will leave and listening to him most likely made our team worse in the future.
