I’ve given him more **** than I should, but he truly is willing to sacrifice a ton to reach the ultimate professional heights and this should absolutely be noted

This really needs to be quoted. For all the garbage takes people have had about Hayward, this dude is going to MISS THE BIRTH OF HIS CHILD, just to help this team go for a championship. Anyone running their mouths about his commitment should be banned, get on it mods.

And 1 x 1 billion for both. I've been tough on the guy also, but dude earned his Celtic stripe tonight. Loved seeing him out there..he's so **** good. Should just get better as the series goes on.

I was happy to see Herro is in fact human at the end of the game. He couldn’t miss early.

The playmaking was also great. It was the last piece for him to become a legit top 10 player, and always my biggest question mark about him. In a season full of leaps for him, he keeps making them. Kid is a star.

He somehow leveled up his platymaking about 2 seasons worth while stuck at home quarantining and not touching a basketball for months...

Hayward immediately came in the game and broke their zone defense, offense was rolling after that

Gave the VC to Hayward. Him being back helped more than the stat sheet. I know Brown was the games MVP but one thing he's very underrated is his postup defense. He locked down siakam and when he defended Bame he made him miss.

Great win but i'm not celebrating till we get that 4th win.

Robinson/Herro/Crowder for the 3's got them back close in the 4th and then if it got super close you get Butler back in to close.

Spo is a great coach.

Maybe. But Butler hits big shots, makes good passes, and plays big D. Whereas Dragic and Crowder shot a combined 3-15 from 3 tonight.

Gordon confirmed that he is staying in the bubble. Tremendous sacrifice. Thank you Robyn

Want to call out that a major aspect to the game for Jaylen was the refs not putting him into early foul trouble.
There were some plays early where he has normally gotten calls that go against him, a few tonight were he expected it and the refs held off....this really let his aggression come out.

They broke the zone on offense and played stellar defense. 39% FG with just 27% on 3FG. Celtics brand of basketball. They just need to figure out how to close out games.

Oh and BTW, they stopped Dragic today. 11 pts on 20% shooting. Stopping Dragic is key to stopping Miami's offense. This would've been a blowout if Herro hadn't exploded in the 2nd.

I’m being greedy, but I can’t wait for a fully operational Hayward in game 4.

The best part is that the game STILL hasn't slowed down for him yet. He is such a stud.

Jaylen can play a finesse game but he isn't a finesse player...would have loved to see him play in the 80's

Well they demolished the zone in about three different ways. I think it’s fair to say Miami’s one trick has expired.

Also Kemba with a sneaky 21, good effort on D, 6 boards.

Interesting that Brad just went with the five of them as a death lineup.

Give me more of it

Jaylen can defend Bam as long as he doesn't foul.

i only want it on rare occasions, jb is needed on the perimeter. jb has to get around a bazillion screens all game. he'd foul out on bam and theis will get cooked outside. where do you see us putting theis on d if jb is on adebayo?

edit: outside of tonight bam usually gives jb the business when matched up too.

Too lazy to check, but I'm pretty sure it's the first time all season that 4 Celtics players scored 20+ in the same game.

Makes me want to vote for Hayward now, but I already cast my vote for Jaylen.
