I don't know man. I still think this is going 6.

Charles comparing AD to Derrick Coleman and then asking him live on air "why aren't you aggressive?" 10 mins after he hits the biggest shot of his career is just :nonono: Let the man enjoy his moment. I'm normally fine with dismissing Chuck's moronic hot takes, but it just felt disrespectful to deflate his tires in that moment.

Lebron looked out of sorts the entire 2nd half and they kept committing so many turnovers.

Don't see the Lakers nor Lebron playing that poorly again.

Denver might take a game but I don't see how it goes 6. If this was a 6 game series this was the game they had to win.

That’s what I thought before the series but I think tonight was the one they needed to win for that to happen. 14 more free throws for Denver, 24 turnovers by LA, really bad second half by LeBron. Just an absolutely brutal game to lose. The poor performance should (hopefully) refocus LA.

Dwight & McGee getting equal minutes is puzzling. Dwight started the 2nd half in game 1. Confused why Vogel put McGee back out there to start the 2nd half tonight. He only had 2 fouls so it wasn't foul trouble.

Joker called AD the best scorer in the league lol

Nugs won't go down without a fight, but I'm so happy for AD. He's had the stats over the years but he needed a moment like this.

Buzzer beater in your first WCF appearance is a legacy building thing.

Yeah that comeback made it clear this is going to be a long series, if not in games then at least in the level of play required out of the Lakers. The Nuggets will not roll over, and Jokic seems to have figured stuff out in the second half.

Yeah this is my thinking too. Denver went all in on this game when they switched up their defensive scheme at halftime shading hard towards Lebron when he had the ball, and it really **** with the Lakers offense and gave the Nuggets a great chance to win, but they still lost and now LA has a chance to watch film and adjust in game 3. A sweep is pretty likely at this point, though I also thought the Clippers would handle this team fairly easily sooooo

From a lineup standpoint the obvious adjustment is to start Dwight and match his minutes with Jokic as much as possible while nailing Javale's ass to the bench. Dwight was great in this game and it shows with his +10 in 13 minutes.

Denver had everything going for them in this game, they were finally aggressive and got the calls they wanted. Murray and Joker for the most part showed up as well, this was the one they needed to win imo to make it competitive.

I'm sure they won't put their head down and will go all out in game 3, but now the Lakers not only have the lead but have some time to regroup and see what they can polish. I can't see Bron having another 2nd half stinker.

I think Denver will take a game but I’d be surprised if it goes beyond 5. They needed this one.

Our streak of not losing a game after leading in the 3rd Q continues

51-0 now?

Lebron was off in the 2nd half, refs didn't give him a couple calls I felt, and then Nuggets were hitting some shots and that Jokic tip off the Murray airball was crazy

Should win in 5 games, think they should still win 1 game right?

Dwight was in foul trouble with 5. He saw more Javale in the 2nd half. I dont think he really figured out much

Vogel needs to go with Dwight off the tip now. Can't spot Denver minutes with JaVale now that they've shown they can hang with the Lakers.

The Javale minutes keep DEN in it imo but hopefully Dwight can reign it back and not foul so much.

After watching LeBron play out of his mind in 2018 and still see people crack “3-6” jokes, I don’t even care if AD is seen as the best player. The haters will hate no matter what he does. I want him to get #4 in any way possible.

The weird thing is he really wasn't in foul trouble. He only had 2 at half-time. He picked up his 4th & 5th in the last 5 minutes of the game. I guess Vogel was just pre-emptively worried - only reason why I can think of that he played Javale to start the 2nd half when he didn't in game 1.

Phew! I'm harder on AD than most, but he's really **** on my opinion of him this playoffs.

I wish he'd come and post again so I can tell him that.

I'd rather just go small with Morris/AD if Dwight's in foul trouble than play Javale.
