Doesn't hit ya how bad the '16 and '17 draft **** ups are hurting this team until you go look at a draft recap.

If I were Bucks GM John Collins, Devonte Graham, H.Diallo and Kostas would be here ... just imagine, I would be considered Bucks savior.
My '18 Draft picks especially Devonte Graham, would have been maybe even a better steal than Brogdon.

That 2018 Draft was loaded with good PG prospects, we picked DDV who they thought he can be a playmaker and a shooter, but in fact he is not good in any of these.

At age 35 on an expiring contract, I wonder if LaMarcus Aldridge would be content with all of the front court minutes behind Brook and Giannis for a shot at a ring. He’s made seven all star teams, five all NBA teams, almost $200 million & never played for a true contender. Could be a Sixth Man of the Year candidate in Milwaukee. Being a major contributor on a title team might cement his Hall of Fame case.

DDV is going to be one the top players on the team next year, barring a trade. He's improving. The bubble was to start an anomaly for him. What came to end the Heat series more like where he's headed, only better.

That was the right pick. Still.

I really question his upside. His handle and finishing at the rim are heavily limiting his potential as a ball handler. Imo it's highly probable that he ends up being a high level role player. But this team needs high level role players and getting one at 17 is pretty good.

Bucks: Derrick White, LaMarcus Aldridge
Magic: Eric Bledsoe
Spurs. Evan Fournier, #24, Ilyasova, Wilson.

Sign the best backup wing in the Kent Bazemore/Justin Holiday range. Try like hell to unearth a minimum contract gem. Probably bring back Connaughton for regular season wing depth.

White/Hill
Donte/Wes
Middleton/Bazemore
Giannis/Aldridge
Lopez/Aldridge

2020 Playoff Giannis 1.4 / 4.4 3Ps 32.5%
2020 Playoff DDV 0.7 /2.1 3Ps 33% 10 games 16+ min per 2nd years in the NBA turning 24 in January. I don't see it, no matter how many RPM and Vorps and advanced stats you show me. I want to see this translate into meaningful matches.

How's Samanic been doing? Last I've seen him was summer league but he was impressive.

Maybe. His advanced stats in the PnR are promising. He's good on defense (more Beverley than Bledsoe) and his shot has developed pretty well.

Just had a browse on the Memphis thread. They thought he ran the bench unit really well but would be willing to trade him to solidify another starter.

The prize in said trade would be Gallo anyway. If you get something more out of Jones than a solid bench piece I'd call that trade fairly successful. If push comes to shove you start Hill.

Either way I don't hate it. I still prefer to get an elite PnR scorer but this is definitely something we should keep in mind (all though this then gets tough with timing as the trade market usually picks up AFTER FA).

If Boston entertains moving Kemba he'd be my prime target.

Edit: Depending on what Gallo demands the only change I'd try to make is to swap Ersan with DJ.

Tyus Jones might not be great but he'd be our best PG.
