Now anytime I see you recall something you said years ago, I can't help but think there's a chance it was actually emunney who said it.

What do you guys think about a back court of:
CP3/Hill/Tyrell Terry
Matthews/DDV

Hill seems redundant. Could we get a draft pick or something for him? If we trade him for another player, a wing like Morris or Gay makes the most sense.

Brook/Gasol
Giannis/X
Middleton/X/Thanasis
Matthews/DDV
CP3/Terry
still learning the game

Did we get Marc Gasol somehow? Or is that Canadian confusion (a really friendly Pokemon attack?!?)

Here's a deal similar to my Gallinari deal, but instead includes Oubre. I don't actually like him, but am interested in what others think. Suns were asking for a 1st for him at the deadline, didn't get it, then won 8 straight with him out. I think they'll dump him now like they did with Warren.

Bucks get: Tyus Jones
Grizzlies get: Ersan, #24

Bucks get: Kelly Oubre, Nemaj Bjelica, Justin James
Knicks get: Bledsoe
Suns get: Charlotte 2021- 2nd rounder via NY, Bucks 2022- 2nd rounder
Kings get: DJ Wilson, Dallas 2021- 1st rounder via NY

Chuck really talked me into Bjelica, and now I think he's undervalued. I think Justin James could develop under a real coach.

Trick OKC into wanting to take on Wall's deal for a few 1sts from MIL & WASH, MIL gets CP3, WASH gets Bledsoe, Ersan and filler.

Alright, let's get weird and shake it up.

https://tradenba.com/trades/GPwxfVfCz
To Bucks: Beal, Thomas Bryant, 2020 2nd (#37)
To Wiz: Middleton, Lopez

Wiz downgrade slightly on the wing, but get a big upgrade at center. Bucks get a better 1-on-1 wing scorer, a poor man's BroLo and an early 2nd.

https://tradenba.com/trades/WTkAdRi7q
To Bucks: Derrick White, James Johnson
To Wolves: Bledsoe, 2020 2nd (#41)
To Spurs: 2020 Wolves 1st (#17), DJ, Jacob Evans

Wolves get much-needed backcourt defense, Bucks get White and an expiring Johnson, and Spurs get a mid-1st and some young filler.

Bucks sign GRIII, bring back Wes, sign cheapish backup big (Leonard/Baynes/Skal/Bender), draft best available wing at #24 (Bane/Nesmith/S. Bey/Green), draft big at #37 (Tillie/Tillman)

PG: White, Hill, Mason
SG: Beal, Donte, Wes
SF: GRIII, Wes, 1st-rounder
PF: Giannis, J. Johnson, Thanasis, 2nd-rounder
C: Bryant, Baynes, RoLo

Overall, Bucks are thinner in the frontcourt, but have more scoring in the backcourt.

John Hammond owes at least an entire decade of NBA paychecks to Giannis. Pay him back with Terrance Ross for DJ and Ersan or something.

If you guys could stop suggesting trades acquiring a no-defense ball-chucker (other than perhaps signing a bench guy on a vet min. contract), you'd be doing my blood pressure a favor.

I believe our D is overrated.

Lopez and Bled are not 2nd ALL NBA Def Team
Their stats are overblown by Giannis presence on court and the impact he has on Team Defense.

So bringing more offensive talent to the team while giving up some defense, will probably work cause Giannis Only as one of the freakiest ever athletes a man has ever seen, does impact team Defense.

On the other hand its i so strange to highlight that both sides of the floor are important and people just focus ONLY on X player Def.
You are supposed to evaluate both sides right?

If that X player scores alot , it helps Giannis on offense, opening up things for him. That X player needs to have Gravity as a scorer. We don't have Gravity scorer players except Giannis. The only one that has Gravity is Khris, BUT his game is so predictable, he basically never attacks the paint, he just makes step backs, fade aways, tough 1v1 baskets which is good BUT doesn't demand a double team for example, he rarely cuts so no help defense, no space for others, no Ball movement. We are too predictable and easy to plan against team. We need bucket makers, Players with offensive Gravity.

Brook & Indiana George future+picks/cash for Victor Oladipo.
Sign Derrick Favors, Campazzo, & Kostas.
Draft Nate Hinton with Indy pick. Trade up if necessary.

Favors, Giannis, Robin
Giannis, Favors, Ersan
Khris, DDV, Thanasis, Kostas
Oladipo, Wes, DDV, Hinton, Thanasis
Campazzo, Bledsoe, DDV

Play Giannis & Eric separately to get the most out of their games.

It is 7 years after drafting Giannis, unfortunately we don't have much of trading assets. We don't have young players or a stash of picks or even a good player on a bargain contract. We don't have cap space either. It has been a complete failure of management

There is still hope even on these terms ... Since the FO can't figure it out themselves ... why don't they just copy what other teams did in a similar situation ? Well its the Miami Heat and they just eliminated us pretty much with their perfect recovery plan. Last 3 years or so the Heat is the most active NBA Org hunting for gems Undrafted, overseas, summer camps etc... We aren't doing any of those , we leak our Draft Picks, we overpaid multiple role players and had to attach 1st RPs to get rid of them, We weren't smart with handling the Jabari asset, we just let him go, Horst the cough " cap calculator expert " cough did't clear some salary and lost a 20+ M Trade Exception from the Brogdon trade ... the DJ Wilson and DDV picks looked awful to me when drafted and I still don't see anything special. Bucks should have hired a group of coaches and scouts so they can track the Undrafted, the G-League, overseas etc. They are going the cheapest they can which is really the reason why we have John Horst (the fax guy) as our GM ... A promiss to Giannis doesn't change anything of the above, they have to ACT NOW ... but they are clueless

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
