Crowd adds nothing, and the basketball is better here.

I kinda agree when it comes to the TV experience. They can definitely enhance it better and add more crowd noise effects and make it look just as real. But actually going to the game and being part of a live atmosphere is a whole different experience and not having that would be huge.

There are some arenas that are just electric though and even from watching at home you can feel the energy. Other arenas, not so much. Like I really don't think we would feel a difference between the Heat playing in the Bubble and them being at home. Celtics on the other hand, is a different story.

yeah, some buildings are a character.

obviously new york, los angeles on laker day (lol), boston...

detroit is detroit. no explanation necessary.

portland has an amazing atmosphere. i can't even explain why. fans there are insane.

TORONTO is a gong show no matter how the raptors are doing.

denver is another gym you don't want to play in as an opponent. loud and breathless. real home court advantage. this young, hungry, well coached nuggets team is going to be A PROBLEM for YEARS.

I believe Portland is the only professional sports team on that city. Same with the Kings. Its fans are crazy too.

Very accurate for this year. I'm just pretty happy to not be on fire or inhaling a campfire log with every breath right now.

When I've been at games in the Garden, my heart is jumping out of my chest and it seems like the whole crowd is feeling the same (unless it's one of our recent awful games).

When I've gone to the Barclay Center, it was very polite and so quiet you could have a conversation in a normal tone of voice. Meh.

The fires SUCKED. They came too close for comfort and then the air was horrible for 1 week+ after that. Finally clearing up west of the Cascades but east (Bend area) is still very smokey. Fires are still advancing that direction.

This year's fire season stemmed from a freak event but hotter, drier summers have led to some pretty nasty ones since I've been out here.

Playoffs should be in the bubble all the time but with full arenas and the tickets sold at auction.

so the games would be destinations like the super bowl?

in this scenario the florida and southern teams might have had more fans willing to make the trek for a game or two.

Without AD's dagger this series would be 1-1

Does anyone give Denver a chance at winning tonight and making this series competitive?
